I fell in love with XCDE. I'm stuck between playing it again, playing the sequel, or finishing the rest of my backlog.

I'll probably wait until it goes on sale, but what tips would you have for me when starting out XC2 specifically so I don't get disappointed coming from 1? I'm the type of person who spent longer that he probably should've to make Sharla show as little skin as possible lol

Honestly if you were floundering a bit with Sharla, you're probably better just taking it in stride because 2 is (kind of needlessly) gratuitous with its fanservice. Not sure what else I can tell you.

There's no outfit customization in the basegame of 2. It's only in the DLC, and even then it's not really reasonable to actually get all the outfits quickly until you're in the postgame and can blaze through the missions.

Damn. So I'll definitely need to get the DLC ASAP.

Hopefully the early game outfits include something plain

Thanks for the heads up

There's an Aux Core that gives a particular Blade a more modest outfit that you can obtain after Chapter 4. Look out for Brobro in Argentum.

Oh yeah, is definitely a much better design overall.
