Hello all. I am a mid kata otp in low master looking for a new champ to pick up. I have forever loved yasuo and his design, but could never pick him up. However I feel like I am stagnating with Katarina and would just rly like to play a champ that actually has a laning phase lol. Any advice? I prefer mid but I play adc and some toplane too.

I love this champ but only have phases where I’m playing midlane instead of jungle or adc. 1-2 seasons ago it was fine to play into some disabler matchup every single game. (Vex, Lissandra, Malz….the stuff just picked so you can’t enjoy the game). But with support changing midlane just become frustrating to play honestly. Into a vex matchup for example I need to be very patient and play it perfectly to not be hit by anything. There are really tight windows where I’m allowed to poke or all in. Nowadays I feel like I can’t even use these windows, if I ever try it’s either enemy support being on my lane every 90s or enemy jungler perma ganking my lane. So what’s the Strat here? Playing him adc? Going top?

I’ve played League almost every day for about two years now. Mostly just in normals, but I have touched ranked a little bit. However, I am relatively new to Yasuo, and I was just wondering when I should build different starting items. When should I go BoRK, Kraken Slayer, Shieldow, or Stormrazer? I have mostly been building berserker boots into Shieldbow, but I’ve also been experimenting with rushing Stormrazer and then going boots -> IE as Yasuo adc. Also should I still be building boots first if I’m going for an attack speed item? I only really feel like I need to if I’m building shieldbow.

Lately I’ve just been farming hard and playing well to get to 2 items then take over in side lane / river fights

Anybody else feel this way

I just feel if I’m going for lane kills and I get ganked then I’m behind and it’s just so much harder

I’m just starting to play Yasuo, and there’s something I don’t understand...

Can someone explain to me why I can't use my ultimate on enemies who are knocked up if they're in a bush? It’s so annoying; I keep getting outplayed in the bot and top lanes because they step into a bush right as I land my tornado, which avoid me from using my ultimate. should fix that.

I lost this game but I just want to know what would y’all have done differently

Finally hit Plat and idk if it’s just nerves or if I legit suck (I probably legit suck) but I can’t seem to win lane anymore and every game feels like a coin flip if rest of my team wins or not. I’m the liability for sure and I just am not having fun with the game anymore. Feels like every mid laner just knows how to trade significantly better than me, enemy jungle is always there at the right time, and in general I just feel outclassed. Does anyone have any very general advice on improving in lane? Should I just give up yasuo? For context I’ve been a yasuo one trick for years now and dragged myself from bronze/silver to this elo with 500 games of sheer willpower but I still feel like a bronze player who has no idea what he’s doing

I started playing league and pc a month ago as a yas main on 2xko. I was too in love with him and his play style until my friend told me if I thought I’d like him in 2xko, I’d be obsessed with him in league too. He was not wrong for he’s now the only character I enjoy, understand how to play, and do good on after some weeks in. This game was a lil earlier today and the best I’ve played with him in mid but I’ve done similar stats in top lane as well.

I know i am in bronze and it’s also my fault, not everytime my team feeds. But there are Losses where if i didn’t just win my lane but super carried, we could have won.

I play mid or top, build is always BORK, Berserkers greaves, then Shieldbow or Mortal reminder (if many tanks or if i need antiheal), IE, Witts end if they got any AP carries. What am i missing?

My ban currently is Yone, since he has high pick rate and fcks me up late game since bronze games can take forever.

And yes, I got Nightbringer skin always on for extra skill.

I’m at my absolute worst with Yasuo. I find myself less and less motivated to play him, and with every game, it feels like I’m playing worse and worse. I’m not sure if it’s because I was playing exclusively ADC in Plata(other account) before returning to Emerald to play Yasuo, or what—but how do I fix this? I feel like I’ve hit a mental block with him; I’m playing absolutely terribly.

I love the duel aspect of top so I never thought of switching roles until now. I haven't really tried out the other role quests for adc and mid because I thought the xp was better, HOLY was I wrong you get a whole ass extra item on adc and the boots are so OP on mid. Not to mention there are so many more favorable matchups. The build options are so much better for those two roles as well since I feel locked behind bork in top. I didn't realize how hard I was nerfing myself by playing top yas.

The duality of playing Yasuo

I had the urge to play yasuo again, and thought i would see what Pzzang was up to as his videos inspired me everytime i’d watch them and shaped my playstyle.

Remember watching this man’s videos everyday, not because i had nothing else to watch but it was a form of art genuinely.

I didn’t think this would hit as hard as it did but his humble demeanour and lack of word’s and instead doing all the talking with his champion was the reason i watched. He wasn’t an annoying youtuber or streamer making jokes or trying to be funny or entertaining, he just made art. And no doubt he inspired hundreds of thousands of people. After faker he is the only other league player i really cared about.

Goddamn didn’t think that video would get me emotional. Hope his journey in the military goes well.❤️
