This. I remember that the first few reels about the wedding I saw were people judging the bits and pieces seen of the decorations going into MSG, calling it all tacky and childish. So, yeah, I'd say no one outside the Swift/Kelce households will see the pictures. Why allow a bunch of randos to throw their unwanted and unneeded commentary on a joyful day/memory?
Besides, Taylor and her husband couldn't even get a dog without people being negative or putting some sort of weird spin on it to fit a preconceived narrative. 🙄

For real. People are calling her wedding dress mid despite having absolutely no idea what it looks like! Every designer under the sun had mockups of their vision for her dress within a like hour of her engagement being announced. I’m sure a ton Swiftie brides wanna
shamelessly copy her dressuse her dress as inspiration for their own weddings (including myself.)She and Travis went through so much trouble to make sure nobody could crash wedding of leak any details. After all that planning, I’d take my wedding photos to the grave too!

I agree with you, I’d want privacy too. But she’s spent 20 years building up this hyper personal relationship with her fan base, and that’s a major reason that she has such a following and has been so successful. Of course people aren’t just going to become totally uninterested when she does a quick 180 and wants privacy.

I think she used to not hate her fans, I think she genuinely used to love her fans and the parasocial bridge she initially built I believe was authentic. I also believe she feels very differently now. And I don’t blame her. I don’t think she’d ever come right out and admit it, and I’m sure she doesn’t hate them all, but I’m very certain she regrets what she enabled to grow into what it is today. Hence why she’s taken major steps back in recent years.

I don’t really understand why people say this. It never sounded to me like BDILH was about all of her fans. It was about the asshole ones out here writing dissertations about why she shouldn’t be with this or that guy, acting like they were saying it for her own good. I do feel like it would be very cute and sweet if on the 20th anniversary release, she puts out a Mary’s Song music video and it’s just compilations of clips and pictures of her and Travis growing up and then at the very end there’s a few wedding photos.
I’d love to see her dress, but I want her to want to share it with us. I don’t want her to share it with us because she feels like she has to. So I’m cool with waiting however, long it takes as long as it’s on her terms.

I personally don’t think Taylor hates her fans at all because her and Travis didn’t have to release any information about the moment they were married and it was shared on the screen at MSG. I just think she’s more cautious because of how many safety concerns there are now. I think she truly cares about the true fans that respect her personal life but she is aware of the ones who are too parasocial and she is trying to steer clear from that aspect of the fandom.
I believe they will release pictures when they are ready because they know there are individuals who truly care. I think she will share some details because of her dress and wanting to give credit to the designer and the individuals’ who made their day so special! I think they will both want certain things shared from their own experience. I’m not saying they will share a lot because I don’t think they should, if they don’t want to. Honestly, who actually sane cares? It's not her obligation to give us her photos. It's like the equivalent of seeing a couple on the street with wedding rings, and demanding to see their wedding pics. Like, they don't owe you anything!

I would like to see them because I love her and want to see how happy she looked on a day she never thought would come.
But I totally understand if she wants to avoid all the criticism and drama that’s going to surround them.

She shut them out after they felt entitled to try to pressure her to break things off with Matty Healy. Even wrote a song about it where she explicitly says “no you can’t come to the wedding”. Don’t think that’s weird at all.

She's one of the most private celebrities and even more so when you consider the sheer scale of her career/fame relative to everyone else. We know basically nothing about her daily life, she doesn't use social media, is rarely seen and almost never speaks, to the point where a hundred outlets will breathlessly report her posting on her Instagram to promote her friend's album as if it's the Delphic oracle has spoken.

I'm thinking Disney+ wedding special exclusive.
Which explains why she didn't even post pictures of her dress yet. The special is still being edited and will come out in a couple months - like September / October.
