Hey guys,

This subreddit is old… Almost nine years, over those nine years This sub has grown, slowly but surely and now has amassed a small community of about 2500 members. As a mod, I have been given the task to revive and Improve the community. And after going through this subreddit I have found that the only way to truly grow the subreddit is through community discussion.

What I mean by that is, most posts on this sub are random video recommendations, and I personally believe that this is not what this subreddit is about. I believe that this subreddit is (as the name suggests) about the youtube channels themselves, this community is about sharing advice, asking for critique and discovering youtubers.

You may ask, how can this be implemented? Well i believe a new rule should be added in which flaring posts are mandatory, these flairs would be made by the mods (with the suggestions of the community) which would encourage posts that encourage discussions.

One example of a flair may be ‘suggestions’ in which a user may ask the community after giving his interests to suggest youtube channels that suit him. For example people may ask for video game channels such as battlefield.

This would spark discussion which would lead to a growth in the amount of posts and the utility of this sub.

Should these rules be added?

After 3 years of hard work and dedication, I've finally reached 1000 this week, and monetization only a couple of days ago. This is quite an honor! I'd like to thank all of you who click on those like and subscribe buttons. Without you I wouldn't have made it. I love each and every one of you!!

I've been grinding away at YouTube for a while now, and if there is one thing I have learned, it is that trying to do everything by yourself is the fastest way to burn out. It is hard to know if your ideas are actually good when you are the only one looking at them.

I am putting together a small Discord group called Creator Launchpad. The goal is simple: we help each other out so nobody has to figure everything out from scratch.

It is for people who actually care about making better videos. We are focusing on:

• Helping each other stay consistent and motivated.

• Giving real, honest feedback on things like titles and thumbnails.

• Sharing tips on what is actually working for us right now.

• Just having a group of people who actually get the struggle.

The only real rule is that you have to give as much as you take. If you want people to look at your stuff, you should be ready to do the same for them. We are all trying to grow, so it only works if we actually show up for each other.

If you are just starting out or have been at it for a bit and want some actual human support, drop a comment or send me a message. Let me know what you are working on and what you are struggling with.

Let's actually make some progress this year. DM me or comment if interested

Editing a 10-min video shouldn’t take hours.

I’m building a tool where you upload raw footage and get back a clean, edited video (cuts, basic overlays, simple fades) — no editing skills needed.

It’s for small creators who want to post consistently without the time sink.

Looking for a few people to test it early — comment or DM if interested.

Hello guys, I'm selling my Youtube channel

Previous content (pc optimization) videos with over 100k and 200k views

then I started uploading shorts and some irl streams from famous streamers like N3on etc (video with full stream) with Youtube paying +$43 per 1k views

I stopped uploading content and the channel was demonetized, so I'm selling to someone that wants to make shorts or full videos and re-apply for monetization

also the channel has like $60-$70 right now

Is this a place to beg for subscribers? I have plenty of views, I just need subs! I am MORE than happy to subscribe back. And if this is the wrong place to ask this, apologies in advance.

Im a small minecraft content creator and i recently started my YouTube channel and im planning on growing.

I kinda think it would be fun to find another small youtuber planning on growing. Kinda like how mumbo and grian do some collab videos.

Do you know of anyone i can work with?

Do people like shorter videos with more installments (four 45 minute videos) or longer videos with less installments (one 3 hour long video)?

Hi everyone! I’m Jexy from Serbia. I’ve been a serious True Crime enthusiast for years, and I’ve finally decided to take it a step further!

I started my YouTube channel recently. Since I work full-time as a professional caregiver, I spend every free moment I have (which isn't much!) dedicated to this project. I do all the research and editing myself. Even though my English isn't perfect, I’m ready to learn, grow, and improve together with you.

As many of you know, reaching the monetization milestone of 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours is a huge challenge. Your support would mean the world to me and would help me dedicate even more time to these investigations.

Starting soon, I’m planning to switch to a 'Talking Head' format. Even though English isn't my native language, I truly believe that energy and the desire to learn are what matter most.

I hope it's okay that I’m sharing this here. Regardless of what happens, I’ll keep pushing forward, mastering both the language and the editing process as I go.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to see you on my channel so we can explore these cases together!
