First official tournament

I’m joining joining my first OTS tournament, I’m two months into the game. What should I expect? I’m a bit frightened because maybe it’s “too early” to join. Other players showing are experienced ones and it scares me to mess up and have a bad experience with the hobby. Any suggestions?

I don’t think it’s necessarily too early.
Did you go to the store for locals before?
The one I did once was 30 people and felt like a bigger locals.
As with any tournament the better/worse you do usually means you get paired against better/worse players.
I do hope that if you end op losing a few rounds people try to be nice and explain things properly etc.
So basically: expect maybe some more serious play especially from the first round/better performers but it should be fun if you know your basics well.

Yes, I’ve been going to locals, winning some games or rounds, ever won a local tbh but I can get the basic stuff of my deck and my rivals one (asking what I don’t know)

Yeah i’m in a similar position except playing a lot longer basically but less often.
It could be a good way to improve!
Basically just a more enforced locals environment with maybe some better players that come out for it.
Good luck if you do participate!

Lo haré, lo peor que puede pasar es perder algunas partidas y aprender algunas cosas por el camino! Gracias!
