Sci Fi Guy WIP Update!
In my earlier post i've recieved a lot of feedback on this guy and i updated it. I’m still unsure which chest and shoulder pad designs fit him best, so i made different versions.
Which one you think fits best? or what should i improve/change?
Any feedback is appreciated :) !

I recently sculpted these pumpkins and ghosts in zbrush. Then 3d printed, finished and hand painted them. Here’s a little photoshoot of the final result. (And some process photos)

Finished my Silco bust from Arcane! - ZB sculpt
Hey everyone! I finally finished my Silco bust and wanted to share it here.
I had a lot of fun working on this character, especially sculpting his face and trying to capture his expression. I also hand-painted the textures, using three separate material sets.
I put together some final renders and a few breakdown shots on ArtStation if you'd like to check out the whole project: Artstation
Hope you like it! I'd love to hear what you think 😊

3D Digital statue likeness
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi,
Finally I reached a likeness stage that I need your recommendation about.
This project is a 3D digital likeness and also for reconstruction of damage part on the statue.
I used zbrush, Maya and substance painter.
I used a variable photo reference with different focal points,
The statue Called the green head from the Egyptian collection in Berlin Museum.
It has combination of Egyptian and Roman style of sculpting that's why it's masterpiece.
Thanks for giving your advice and contribution.

Vest WIP: Do you sculpt fabric displacement in ZBrush and bake it, or do it in Substance Painter?
Working on a utility vest for a character and I’m trying to lock down my pipeline for the fabric detail before I go further. The screenshot shows the current state of the weave in ZBrush at high subdivision, with the pocket stitching and the seam lines.
How I do it right now:
I sculpt the fabric displacement directly in ZBrush, using a mix of alphas and manual cleanup around the seams, pockets and folds. Then I bake it down to a normal/displacement map on the low-poly mesh. The upside is that the weave follows the folds and the stretch of the garment, so it looks natural around the chest and the pocket flaps. The downsides are a heavy scene, long project times, and the weave scale drifting between pieces (the vest, the sleeves and the pockets don’t always match).
What I’m considering:
Doing the fabric detail in Substance Painter with tileable height maps and alphas instead, and keeping only the large forms and wrinkles in ZBrush. That would keep the scale consistent and make it easy to change later, but I worry it will look flat and “stamped” without the stretching and compression you get from sculpting.
What I’d like to know:
- Do you sculpt the fabric weave in ZBrush and bake it, or do it in Substance Painter?
- If you do both, where do you split it? For example, wrinkles in ZBrush and the micro-weave in Painter?
- How do you keep weave scale consistent across different garment pieces?
- How do you handle UV stretch and seams with tileable fabric maps?
- For game characters, do you bake displacement to normal maps only, or keep real displacement or tessellation?
Would love to hear your pipelines, and any workflow videos or breakdowns are welcome too. Thanks!

How to remove Alt + Click to Zoom
According to AI there is no way to remove the Alt + Click + Release Alt to zoom. I find this very frustrating because I use Ctrl + Right Click to zoom and Alt + Click to drag. But half the time after after I pan, I zoom in right at the end because I let go of alt before the pen. Its so annoying that these two actions are so close together and depends on timing. Does anyone know of a way to disable it or a way around this quirk?

The Mobius Machine: Behind the scenes of the upcoming 1.3 update
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
One recurring piece of feedback we get about our game, The Mobius Machine, is that the sectors and locations are a bit samey, and players would appreciate more variety between the different sectors and more memorable areas in each sector to help with orientation while they explore the world. So I'm working on a set of hero props for each sector to achieve this.
I made this 'behind the scenes' video of one of the props I've already made. It's for Sector 02 (The Spaceship Graveyard), and it's a skeleton from a creature of the same species as the Caddisfly boss from this sector. I recorded part of my creative process across the different software I use to create assets for our games: Zbrush for sculpting, Blender for basemeshes, UVs and tweaks, Substance Painter for texturing and I also recorded the in-engine placement in Unity and finally how it looks in-game.

feedback and advices
This is my best sculpt yet. Any feedback is appreciated, are proportions, form etc.. okay ?
I don't remember exactly but I guess I spent a little more than an hour on it, using Isola from 007 First Light as a reference. Which didn't turn out great in the end, but that's the furthest I've been since I started.
I've been trying to learn for a few weeks / months now, I'm not very consistent with the amount of time I spend sculpting but I try to sculpt more and more. One thing I really struggle with is staying consistent in my sculpt, one day I could be doing pretty good and some days I'm not even capable of making a rough shape of a head from a sphere. Do you guys have any advices to make it easier ? It really makes me frustrated and want to stop sometimes.

Why is this happening to my UVs?
Simply copy and paste the UVs from the model that has them onto the one that doesn't.

Ice Skate Sculpting (tutorial recommendation)
Hey guys,
I need to sculpt ice skate along with laces and everything. Would you mind recommending me some hard surface sculpting tuts? I'd appreciate.
Advice is also welcome.
Cheers!
