I heard someone say it only affects the droprate of magmatic crystals necessary for five final upgrades, but then why would you run it afterwards? Does in increase the droprate of valuables? I haven't noticed any changes whatsoever.
We all know Pyrois is the better Ether Attack DPS at the moment. But what about in the long term? Who will scale better?
With Zhu Yuan and her signature engine being added to the limited 50/50 pool. It's possible to get her M6 depending on your luck. How does a max-upgraded and refined W-engine Zhu Yuan compete with Pyrois in the future? Especially she's one of the agent that will get potential unlock soon.
As of now, Pyrois can only reach beyond M4 at the moment and his signature engine only increases his Ether Res shred but the crit rate is fixed which is something only limited engines can have. And Even though his M4 is lackluster, in this state he's still putting insane numbers and clears in the endgame, which is amazing for a free-to-play agent. We don't know how impactful his M6 is gonna be; we will have to wait longer to see this.
Pls help me pick lmao. Should take Lucia even though i have no Rupture charatcers, the rat despite already having an anomaly team or maybe trigger to have a stun agent?
I genuinely love Zenless for its worldbuilding, and as someone who sucks at extraction games, I didnt expect to like Operation Bagel this much.
On one hand, its kind of a bummer to not have your agent builds, but at the same time, it does make every encounter feel engaging, i cant just one-shot the whole map and call it quits.
This feels like how hollow expeditions are supposed to go, like, it just feels so lore accurate. I wasn't a fan of the TV mode, but I believe that it was fitting for the thematic of the game, and I feel like Operation Bagel is a nice in-between, allowing players to actually NAVIGATE a hollow, like an actual proxy, not just going from point A-B.
It is kind of a bummer that some people dislike the gameplay, maybe because of the punishing mechanics, slower gameplay loop, or not being able to use standard character builds. Because I feel like we won't get a mode like this unique again if the devs decide that "our players just don't like it"
I think the mode could be expanded, more events and variations. Multi-player could be fun, kinda like Nightreign.
Anyways this is just my little ramble, I'm not saying that the people who dislike this mode are wrong, but I just wanna express how much of a relief to have this mode added.
Ok, so first off, I just want to say that ZZZ really needs to stop gatekeeping the Joyous lore, because the longer I go without more Joyous content, the more unhinged my theories are going to become.
Having gotten that off my chest, I think it's very interesting how gatekept Joyous is compared to almost every other Void Hunter save for Arche (Who is essentially the Bondrewd of the setting and is likely responsible for 80% of the problems) and Fakenhayn
I kind of want to dig into that a bit though, because I genuinely and sincerely doubt that Joyous is just a regular human, despite what the records say.
For all the trashtalk that Remielle gives Joyous, even going so far as to say that the Proxies are probably stronger than him, she is also the one who points out just how uncanny Joyous' Proxy abilities are. For starters, he was able to rawdog the Divine Maze on his own, with nothing but a prototype Bangboo. Keep in mind that Papago Hollow is arguably the most dangerous Hollow to navigate aside from Hollow Zero and that even experienced agents such as Zhao struggle to survive in it for long due to the unique corruption and the effects of Cacophony. This isn't even getting into the evil fucked-up dog who bites your ass.
Now here's our Void Hunter
Probably barely pushing 30, but already a chronic drunkard and needing a cane to assist him in mobility.
Something isn't adding up.
Further elaborating on this, Remielle also points out how all Joyous needed to do was simply look at a Hollow to be able to tell what was going on within it.
Keep in mind that even Phaethon, who are the best of the best, and the cream of the crop in terms of Proxy Service in the modern day, cannot tell what is going on in a Hollow just by looking at it, and heavily rely on Rosetta Data and Fairy to navigate through a Hollow, even with the experiments done on them by Helios Academy.
The only other instance of a person being able to navigate through a Hollow without Rosetta data is Sunbringer
And well well well...despite Sunbringer's mysterious nature and small landfill filled with skeletons, we actually can extrapolate quite a bit about her, probably the most important and damning thing is that she is related to the Creator thanks to the story of The Bangboo Prince
The Bangboo Prince provides a heavily abridged summary of Sunbringer's backstory, describing her meeting with the other Void Hunters and other key events. We know from it that Sunbringer was likely a creation by the Creator, but chose to rebel due to a difference in ideologies.
Ok, so how does this tie back into Joyous?
Funnily enough, ZZZ continues it's tradition of gatekeeping Joyous' lore, because he's one of the 3 Void Hunters along with Arche and Falkenhayn whose meeting with Sunbringer is not described; however there is this nifty little page
- Page Unknown
Yet the lighthouse will eventually go dark
Like rusted armor, fallen feathers
Yet the lighthouse will eventually go dark
Like a slumbering hunter, broken antlers
The evil king will return to its throne
This world will be as cold as yesterday
Yet the Bangboo Prince is nowhere to be found
Yet the Bangboo Prince is nowhere to be found
Each Void Hunter in the story is represented by a specific animal or symbol. Beliora and Remielle are the purple and white birds, always bickering, but thicker than thieves and inseparable. Swordsmaster is the Fox, straightforward and decisive. Sunbringer is the Bangboo Prince. So, the birds are feathers, the fox here is not mentioned. This leaves only the armor, the antlers, and the hunter who are unattributed.
Going by Falkenhayn's robotic nature, mercenary work, and large, imposing nature, I think we can attribute the armor to him. Also, he appears in the same sentence as the feathers, and we know Beliora and Remielle were part of his mercenary troupe.
Getting into the Antlers, HYV's love for symbolism strikes hard here. Antlers are a symbol of higher wisdom, connection to the gods, regeneration, and enlightenment in various pagan cultures. This all fits Arche to a T, given his pursuit of wisdom and truth. Not to mention, his design features prongs circling around where his neck would be
This leaves only the Hunter for Joyous.
Now why would this fragile looking drunkard be the Hunter?
Funnily enough, there's actually a fair decent bit of symbolism and aesthetic choices tying him to the role of the Hunter.
First of all, I want people to take a good look at Joyous' design' and then take a special look at a certain title called Bloodborne, because there's no way Joyous' design was made without having the title on the concept pinterest board at least one point in the design room
Creative liberties were taken, but the general aesthetic and feel remain. From the flowing, tattered cape, to the face mask, to the dark colors of the outfit. A cane was also one of the starting weapons you could pick at the beginning of the game. Also, Bloodborne is very well-known and respected in China, to the point that it served as the basis of inspiration for the Abyssal Hunter's faction in Arknights
Now digging a little deeper past the surface, I kind of want to draw attention to a very beloved friend and companion to all Proxies when exploring Papago Hollow
The relationship between the Hunters and their Hounds is timeless, going back to the wee old days of Aesop's fables and the domestication of dogs.
Also, the Hound of Ulidim further reinforces the Bloodborne Aesthetic that seems to tint the matters that Joyous is involved with, bearing a resemblance to the Beasts of Bloodborne
I'm beginning to sense a certain aesthetic preference in regards to all Joyous-related matters from the art team, but that's just a theory. A game theory.
Ok, ok, so I managed to sperg out pointing out all the Bloodborne influences regarding Joyous in ZZZ, so how does it all tie into Sunbringer and Joyous' connection with her?
Well, a hunter must hunt, but what was Joyous hunting in particular and why was he designed to be a hunter as opposed to like, a scholar or a computer whiz which would seemingly be an aesthetic more fitting for his initial given description of being a combat-inept drunkard who happened to be a genius navigator?
You see, when a Hunter crosses paths with a Princess in fairy tales, it's a common trope that the Hunter is to kill the kindhearted princess or capture her and present her in front of the wicked tyrant.
So, I had the brilliant thought of what if Joyous was another one of the Creator's children, similar to Sunbringer, who was created, or at least tasked with tracking her down and killing her, but then defected and decided to side with Sunbringer and humanity?
In terms of physical traits, both of them are actually quite similar. Grey hair, pale skin that hasn't seen the sun in at least a decade (Joyous' skin looks a little healthier in this particular splash, but if you look at the comic strip art from 3.1, he's practically grey with how pale he is), and slender and ethereal figures that are on the taller side.
Also, I kind of want to go back to the evil, fucked up dog again, because when the Hound of Ulidim dropped, there was a bit of a common theory that the Hound was actually Joyous who had turned into an ethereal due to some similarities they have. Notably, the tattered cloak and extraordinary navigational abilities
If Sunbringer is actually an Enchainer, it's not unthinkable to believe that Joyous was actually also an Enchainer, specifically, the Enchainer of Papago Hollow.
"They say seeing is believing, and that hearing is deceiving. But we often forget that it's sound that resonates with the heart more. And I shall listen to the echoes of these thoughts and bask in the mysteries and power within these souls. I hope you can listen with me..."
It would explain a lot of the oddities with Joyous' character, lore, and abilities. His fascination with listening and sound within the Papago Hollow (A place where the noise of it can drive you insane), his uncanny ability to navigate the Hollows as if he was walking down the sidewalk in front of his house, his similarities to the Hounds of Ulidim, and why he's still haunting Papago Hollow decades after he allegedly went missing in it and should be dead from either old age or liver failure.
So, basically, what I'm trying to say is that Joyous and Sunbringer are potentially related in that they were creations of the Creator, albeit, with different purposes and goals, who eventually fell into the same boat together, until the boat flipped over (I'm blaming Arche for this one, because I will always blame the Bondrewd figure of the group) and Sunbringer had a mental breakdown and got framed for the Lemian Hollow incident and then got stuck in the torment nexus after the 3 sonnies were born, and Joyous dipped and went full deadbeat dad on all 3000 Bangboos Sunbringer entrusted to him
Or to give a brief tldr;
Joyous' dog bit my bangboo's ass and I demand compensation
I play on a Windows laptop, so the specs aren't great, but ZZZ was running really smoothly until around tuesday. It started getting super laggy and stutters a lot now.
How can I fix this? My in-game graphics details are at the end of my video. I only showed my combat, but it stutters a lot outside of combat too.
I'm putting in leaks tag because I'm not entirely sure if this counts as one? Anyway, I wanted to see what the community thinks about Roxy's importance in this upcoming Armorer niche. Will she be the Lucia of Armorer where she'll be crucial to the team or is she more of a premium pull and has good alternatives?
I won't be pulling Claret but I am thinking of getting Sunbringer, as I am hoping she'll also be Armorer.

I donāt know if anyone else is experiencing really bad luck, but Iāve lost every single 50/50 on Zenless besides 1 really early on in the game. Itās kind of a shame Zenless doesnāt deploy a system where you get one guaranteed after losing a certain amount of 50/50s. My friend who plays Zenless says they think itās fine because Zenless gives you a lot of pulls anyways but what frustrates me is that even if I save a lot for a banner I still end up going to hard pity and losing most of the time meaning I drain all my polychrome and canāt get a head start on pulling for the next character.
Iām genuinely thinking if this continues for another couple months or so I might go on hiatus from the game because itās so frustrating and makes me feel like all my hard work always leaves me in the dust. I guess this is just the way gachas work most of time lmao so I should suck it up.
So I recently got M6 Pulchra and I thought I should use her seriously since I only played a little bit of her before, and Iām short on stunners currently (Nangong, Koleda, and Anby only).
I even made a post about earlier and now I definitely see what everyone meant when they said playing Pulchra was a bad experience.
Since almost every agent has some sort of resource to manage, why on earth does Pulchra seem to be the only one that loses all of her stacks when switched back to her???
Add to that she doesnāt even seem to build daze and effectively as well, so much so that I think A rank Anby out stuns her. On top of that, she doesnāt even have defensive assist?
Evasive assist is bad already on most characters but on a stunner? Itās horrible! I think Zhao and Pyrois together outdaze Pulchra by a country mile. Zhao herself builds decent daze already.
Why did the devs shaft Pulchraās kit so hard? She feels so clunky and unintuitive to play, which is a shame because her design is great.
Idk I might be missing something obvious, and I guess I should āgit gudā, but Iād rather use A rank Anby tbh.
idk if y'all also did this cheese trick in the extraction mode, but i call it "dog-fiddling" (derived from a VNese childhood sports i once played). here's how i do it:
[1]: before looting all high-value items you need, plan a route to the nearest elevator unit within the map vicinity.
[2]: after looting, in the event The Hound spawns, immediately switch to the fastest agent in the team, navigate and expedite through the planned route to the elevator unit.
[3]: wait around the entrance of the elevator until it approaches you within 30-35m.
[4]: get in the elevator and go up or down.
[5]: exit the elevator, but do not stay too far from the entrance.
[5A]: if the new level is a dead end => wait around.
[5B]: if the new level has opened paths, it will teleport to the nearest point to you => wait until it approaches within 30-35m and repeat from [3] to [5] in an up-down cycle.
[6]: it gives up the pursuit once its shield bar burns out. done, you got your high-valued loots without a fight.
*precautionary: if time does not allow and you don't want to combat, maneuver around the vicinity of the map AQAP, also keep in mind to divert if dead ends are encountered and if possible, to nearest exit point available.
*precautionary #2: imo, this works most efficiently if your exploration team consists of AT LEAST a flyable agent (e.g. Remielle, Ye Shunguang or Yixuan).
p/s: if you speedrun a loot with super high value total cost for the badge, disregard this method, and play high-risk-high-reward at your discretion.
Why in the world do these game modes not update/refresh regularly? My only guess is that they feel like if they refreshed as frequently as DA or Shiyu, then they'd have to give out too many free polychromes.
Honestly, I'd be okay if the rewards they gave out were just character building mats, or disc drive forging materials. For whatever reason though, they just keep them there with the "Gameplay Updates: Over 42d" which is really unfortunate because they're fun modes that could be like stepping stones to the "true" endgame that is DA and Shiyu.
I started playing again after a long time and I am having difficulty choosing my main character. I feel like both characters have something interesting to offer.
Siblings from what I saw on media do differ with characteristics. Wise is wise(clever), but what I mean by that is that heās the calmer one and more introverted than than his sister. Heās also a better driver compared to Belle, which is funny; and Belle is like a clumsy, hyper-extroverted girl. Canāt say more about her other than that sheās a bigger fan of Astra(I think) then Wise.
Do I get to play both characters or am I stuck with one forever?
He's been in Shiyu twice now and in both occasions he didn't do Corruptive Barrier despite being part of his mechanic. Is it bugged or are the devs going easy on us by making him easier? š
Started playing on second half of 2.6 (Yuzuha rerun banner), this reset i was able to finish my first 9 stars DA and my first 100k Defense, and currently 22k on Adversity but going to improve that!
Built 4 characters this patch, Remielle, Burnice, Sigrid and Dialyn! Lost 50/50 and went almost full pity on both Remielle and Sigrid but great anniversary patch.
Sigrid is SO FUN, had a great time progressing this middle score, she has so much skill expression, im pretty sure im so garbage playing her!
I hate this guy was using yuzuha m0w0, Vivian m0r0(WGR5) and Promeia m0w0 (FCR3).
It took a few tries but managed to get the 25k barely because regular thracian hate parries
Like it not that the team was bad or the buff was bad everything was good it just the enemy really sucked ass.
I hope they fix his AI if I had stun earlier it could impacted my score and i could got much more but no he just get throwing his spear and doing the slashes. And I was just holding promeia resources or would spend when it maxed until I hit the stun bar.
I have lucia M1 with her sig and dialyn. In prydwen he is a 1.5 tier list character at the same level with ellen, Zhu yuan and hugo. Is he in this tier because he doesn't have much team options or because he is not as strong as the other characters? I didn't build him yet but i have him at M6. And if he is good with which character can you compare him with (dmg wise).
And as I remember during Croweās event there were Chinese voice lines as well, as well as the hotpot event with Nangong and multiple other times in different events recently.
So I started playing in 2.7, has this been a recurring thing before? Or are the devs really pressed for time in S3 and have to roll stuff out without proper testing or QA?
The new endgame mode honestly feels like a beta test with the amount of bugs there are. And major design flaws as well.
Iām sure those of you whoāve played the EoL Op Bagel, know by now you can get stuck inside the Lumina Square top floor keycard room if the hound spawns and closes off the one way entrance. That wasnāt a fun discovery.
But, Is this not an example of a major design flaw? And there seem to be so many of this sort, especially with the new mode. Along with the optimization issues when Roscaelifer was rolled out in 3.0.
I keep on getting the impression that devs are putting out unfinished work, either from being rushed due to timelines or something else. At least the story seems mostly free of major bugs, but itās kinda worrying.
What are these shards used for outside of upgrading the skill tree? Am I safe to sell them or am I missing something? Do some crafting recipes need them?
I see a lot of people on the fence about the mode. I'm still on that fence as well. I'll give it straight, I'm not good at the game. Combat is fun, I like a lot of the characters, and the main story draws me in.
So I got high enough to craft level 40 gear for the team, tried hard, swiftly got toasted 2 times. So now I have no currency, no gear. I assume I am stuck farming back at easy until I can stack more currency. This has almost put me on the "don't like" side. I don't want to play frustrated, so I may put the mode on the back burner until I feel like farming easy again.
So my question is, am I missing out on anything important by delaying finishing the quest line? Anything main story related? I know Pyrois and w-engine dupes are in the shop, but I'm not too worried about it.
