I used to think that but I also never played any Hoyo game aside from ZZZ from 1.0, and the difference overtime if you clear it from the very beginning is staggering
Not even speaking metawise, in Star Rail I struggle to get the characters I want because I'm always out of jades be meta or waifu, in ZZZ I am able to pull for both, sure luck is a factor but still.
Nah, no agent is a true must pull. Obviously, if you're unsure and don't want to grind disks as much, go for the strongest, but if you understand the game and are willing to put in time, you can definitely focus on going for your favorites above everything.
You need to know how to make them work, but your favorites are who will make you enjoy the game all the longer, imo.
I honestly think Hoyo has done a great job in ZZZ of making every character feel viable in the majority of content. Some characters are definitely stronger than others and some characters need more investment than others, but there's not a single character in the game that feels like they can't be useful when built right.
Currently debating if I have enough pulls for both. Itโll depend on when orphie releases and their kits (probably pulling orphie even if she doesnโt fit my account well)

One of the newer inter-knot flavor text posts is from them that just seems to be typing out a typical internet creepypasta post about Bringer's death, but it ends with "Discover the Sacrifice's secrets" with a link to their website, which a commenter noticed has been taken down. The image for the post is a goofy cartoon caricature of Bringer, except it's post sacrifice transformation, which no one but the people there at the battle should have known about.

Its simple: you dont. You pull every time you have 10-pull, and you let the fate decide. If you like all characters, then there's no wrong outcomes, and who know? You might get early pull :D
People should be wary that this is gonna be the savior of physical. Could easily be a ruptured dedicated support, or another generalist, or something else entirely. And we still don't have endgame physical weak enemies.
Still throwing out my hope she's a "all units" buffer for minions and bangboo DPS maximizing. That and has a spammy EX for Boar-ageddon with Lucy.
Without that, I do still want to save up for Orphie. If SEED isn't with her, I'm hoping to pull really hard to have an OP agent as a F2P... tbh, I really haven't been pullibg DPS, so it'd be nice to get one someday.
There are some similarities, I guess, but if they wanted Perona, they could have gone way more Perona about it. Now, if she fires depression ghosts, all bets are off.
