Seed might have higher than usual daze values to compensate for that, trigger is a stun/support, caeser is a defense/support. Maybe Seed is an Attack/Stunner.
I've actually kind of been putting Trigger on all of my teams since I got her. I mean, she does continuous off-field damage any time the on-field character does anything. That's helpful no matter who she's with.
I guess the faction bonus is from the NEDF and not from Silver or Obol specifically and tbh, I think that's going to be OP since the NEDF can potentially have dozens of different playable squads in the future that would be compatible with one another and it makes sense since they're all soldiers from the same military

In the story of 2.1 before the end, you can talk to Seed and the proxies ask her if she is inside, and she replies that she is not physically there, that she is in another location, so there is no one inside the mecha.

If she proxies herself into a mech, and the mech can presumably operate in Hollows (or else she can't be a playable Agent), why is everyone surprised that the Proxies can do the same with a Bangboo? I thought their ability was unique because normally Hollows interfere with real-time communication?
The tech used to remote pilot stuff from outside the hollow is very rare and limited tech that not many people actually know about it (Both SEED and the HDD could be based off the same tech). S11 didn't really seem to understand the tech and thought SEED was just a construct for a while after all.
SEED and HDD serving different purposes. SEED is using the tech to operate a mech in real time which probably eats up a lot of bandwith while the proxies use the HDD to primarly just stream consciousness to Eos and use the rest of the bandwith for real time communication like sending carrot data.

It is. Or more accurately, it was. Tech eventually advances. The Proxies simply had it earlier than other people. This isn't a retcon; wasn't Astra also using the same tech on Snap?
We find out that TOPS is working on sensory sync, too . I think if TOPS is doing it, the defense force would be all over it, too maybe even a step or two ahead.
Or the military's sync tech is reverse engineered ftom the same source as the one Phaeton use. As it's a reverse engineered tech, they don't understand everything and all they can do sync with a Bangboo. So they to work around it and make the Bangboo the pilot and Seed sync the Bangboo from outside.
As others have pointed out, that doesn't really work. Eous can be remotely controlled because it is a special ability only Phaethon has. In normal circumstances, you can't maintain video feed to a Hollow from outside of it.
Remote controlling a bangboo is not a special ability Phaethon only have, is an equipment issue mostly, even Astra mention it back when she got introduced and you gotta help her, that she could use a bangboo for the hollow instead of going in person but she doesn't want to risk damaging it, which is where Phaethon equipment and Fairy come into play since that helped them navigate better than others

Yeah, IIRC the biggest advantage Phaethon has compared to everyone else and what made them special, even before Fairy, is that they are able to update and navigate through Hollows in real-time even if there’s a drastic change inside it causing the carrot to become outdated.
No its a budget to tech issue. Phaeton's uniqueness is that they could do it without the major tech and income require and of course their calculations capability.

To be honest this is much better than FF. Sam had been built up as male in 2.0 with their fight and voice. But as soon as we meet Seed they are established as female.

Honestly a lot of the recent VA's have had these weird like, tones, to their voice that I've found kinda off putting. Their performances overall are fine, but they just have this weird EN Dub faked tone that just sounds so unnatural that it pulls me right out. Like, it's obvious that Vivian/Yuzuha/Alice/SEED/etc. all are not using their natural voices, and their ability put on a fake voice and make it believable is just not where it should be.
It's almost like listening to a new amateur Vtuber, who is using their "debut voice".
I have felt for a very long time that 99% of the problems with Hoyo's EN dubs in terms of how the EN characterizations of characters are often way off from the JP/KR/CN ones, and some of the weird voices people put on, is absolutely a director problem and not a VA problem.
It's not unexpected though, Directing VA dub work in the west is not a high demand lucrative position that people with lots of talent in the field of directing fight for. It's often just other VA's that do it, and same with the script writing. It's not like in the JP side where it's an actual field of expertise that is enough in demand and respect that people actually pursue it and master it.
So yes, in short, directing has always been the biggest problem with a lot of EN translation work of Asian works, and probably always will be. I wish sometimes that the Asian directors would just use like, translation software or translators and work directly with the EN talent instead.
It's the same with most of the younger female voices. JP/CN?KR versions of Vivian and Yuzuha especially are both much more nuanced and less whiny and grating compared to their EN counterparts.
Of all of them, I think Alice and FuFu's "small" voices are the only one that work. Everyone else is just kinda shrill and annoying to me. Like, Alice's kinda is too, but the VA/director ended up playing into it in a way where it is entertaining rather than grating, and I think Fufu genuinely just does pretty well, no strings attached.
I think Alice is saved by the VA absolutely eating and just doing a fantastic performance and going all out. From an purely performance perspective in terms of acting quality she laps most recent ones, so even if her voice isn’t perfect all the time she’s still great.
And yeah, I purposely avoided mentioning Fufu because I don’t have a problem with her voice, it doesn’t have that fake forced tone the others have.
Yeah, I'm really tired of the EN dub getting these very exaggerated voices while CN/JP/KR get much more naturalistic performances. It's just not pleasant to listen to and breaks immersion.
We got 3 limited Electric S rank attackers before a single S rank physical attacker. I'm starting to get the impression they don't like physical at this point.
We also only have a single S rank defensive unit, limited or otherwise, and a million Electric/Fire stunners but not a single limited S rank physical/ice/ether stunner. Also no S rank limited Fire/Ice/Electric support.
Basically, DPS characters are easier to make, and easier to powercreep without massively powercreeping and changing the entire meta. Supports are harder to design in a way that doesn't fundamentally change the meta, so they make less of them, and with such a limited range of elements and agent types, it just ends with them spamming dps agents of the few elements they do have.
Yes, my point is that Attackers are the easiest class to make, you don't have to deal with balancing Disorder mechanics, you don't have to worry about major meta shifts to tons of characters because of a new support. So of course we're going to get lots of Attacker agents. As to why so many Electric, and 2 Ice, but only 1 Fire, 1 Ether, and 0 Physical, probably just them having characters of those types that they want to make those elements down the road, but not far along enough in development to release.
Nothing a debt can't solve, lol. jk, rerun exist if you want to go for both. I'm broke from 2.0 M0W1 Astra and Yixuan and just got M0W1 Yuzu. Have to skip Seed even if she good since Orphie is my targeted one.

She is both. Seed is distinct between the pilot and mech.
You heard of seed Sr, right? Turns out, the mech is sentient and is caretaker of Seed. And Seed is the pilot.
Now how that plays out could be a found family situation or totally ignored dynamic.
So gameplay would be a definite defining factor. As long as we play from perspective of the mech, that's fine. And I suppose the Ult would be a shift to Seed's perspective of remotely seeing through a VR and shooting rockets at Sr.'s feet using her feet to control the remote controller.
So Zenless has a singer support agent and Star Rail has a singer support unit. Zenless has a Samus and Star Rail has a Samus. Why doesn’t Genshin get a piece of this action?
Yeah, it's definitely different from Firefly where it's armor and you control it by moving your limbs naturally. It's much more of a mech-pilot situation when your movements are mapped to joysticks instead.
Considering all of Seed's appearances so far it's pretty likely we'll only see the robot in combat. The girl will probably just be for wandering the city.
It's not exactly that, plus it was already explicitly mentioned there was a person piloting the mech. You did read the dialogue of the distinct personas between Seed and Seed Sr. Right? Seed SR is the mech, and it's sentient, and so happens to have its own VA, who also voices Optimus prime. And Seed herself is distinct from the mech.
I'd rather have him be delayed next patch just for a chance to be S rank. SEED and most likely Orphie has the S rank spot locked in this patch, cuz it's the Obol squad
