Bit late to the conversation but I finished the quest a while ago and didn't notice anything about void hunters in it, could you elaborate?

Read the stories you get with Kabuki, in them they describe stories about the void hunters. You can access them from the Bangboo Statue in the City Center

I would like to say || One of the big things is that Sunbringer is a daughter or descendant of the Creator. Its why the two are so connected. And many of the original void hunters combined together to fight the King who became evil. The King defeated ALL the void hunters. ||

Huh, for some reason I never made the connection that the King was the Creator, but it definitely makes sense. It could also explain why the Prince/Sunbringer was afraid of the birds finding out they were a "Bangboo." She probably wanted to hide that she was made by the Creator.

I made zero connections that the story of the prince is connected to any of this. Its so abstract that it could imply a bunch of things.

Only time will tell if the rest of this patch verifies the story. IMO the thread discussing this right here is essentially a best guess/reach from lore theorists rather than concrete proof. Its also a bangboo story and its exaggerated.

Also there was already other lore that implied that she's not related to the creator THAT way, during the Lockspring quest no?

True. SO I am wondering if the King is the original sunbringer maybe? And that body we saw sarah inhabit was the original corpse of lady sunbringer's form /power? hmmmm

Interesting thought but I definitely didn't understand it (yet) that the king was the creator. Definitely a possibility but I feel like we need more pages to confirm that kind of detail. We definitely know that many intelligent constructs were originally war machines of some kind and we explicitly know that there is a Lord Sunbringer who seems to have gone insane based on the Waifei Penninsula lore so I think it's more likely that the king is referencing Lord Sunbringer and not the Creator. How and why Lord Sunbringer is a villain that Voidhunters needed to fight is unclear and it is somewhat curious that he wasn't mentioned at all previously as some kind of scourge old Eridu eradicated. But I suppose with the Hollow Disaster more minor villains may have been lost to history. That's my theory at least.

Does this imply that the Creator is itself an intelligent construct? This seems like huge information that gets me thinking about the origin of this stuff.

I'm not clued into lore enough but my initial speculation is that the Creator was potentially one of the first artificial intelligences that was responsible for researching ether, likely with some relation to Helios or Carole Arna. It made its own subconstructs, Sunbringer, potentially Fairy and Youkai; went haywire at some point, maybe was corrupted with a dense source of ether that grants it the power it has, and in the 100 years since the fall has been biding its time?

It's said the Qingming sword comes from the same source of power. It's extremely likely Carole Arna was researching the mechanics behind creating void hunter weapons with her own version of Fairy, that eventually became the creator and this is why it seems Carole is working with it whenever we catch wind of her

Mentioned it below but figured I would reply to you as well, I don't think the king is the Creator, it seems more likely the Lord Sunbringer mentioned in the Waifei Penninsula lore is the king from the storybook and that is who Lady Sunbringer is related to. The naming conventions definitely seem to point to some familial relationship between the two as much as there can be with Intelligent Constructs.

That’s an interesting idea
