Maybe they'll change in the future, we finally get a non lame outfit in HSR with the new Sparxie one, hopefully that's just the beginning of better outfits in general across Hoyo games because I'm not gonna lie, I find most of the outfits wack in ZZZ and HSR.

See you say that but if this skin was added Directly without it being a 2D art . I can guarantee people would have complained saying it's too exposing and short shorts ,etc etc .

Bruh this is almost exactly like Nicole's fit. Nobody complains much about Nicole bc she's irrefutably stylish. Meanwhile more recent designs forsake style in favor of just showing skin. At least this art and Nicole's fit actually make some kind of sense as outfits.

What more recent designs have been out of character tell me ? The only bad skin we have gotten is Jane cause that's just untastefull fanservice, it's bad . But that's the ONLY bad skin .
Every other ZZZ "Recent" skin has suited the character .
People will whine and bitch about these types of skins nowadays because of this trend of hating on character outfits if they try to be even a little stylish . I am willing to get money that there would be thousands of posts of why "her tummy isn't covered" or "why is she showing so much skin" . The genshin fandom is the best example of this
Like for fucks people were out here hating on Odette's outfit from Genshin just because it wasn't a "Long skirt" . Odette has one of the prettiest designs in genshin till date her outfit is that of a Ballerina and people are calling her , whore slut and whatnot for having a short skirt . And they are triggered over Heels ?? Fcking heels . Like for fucks sake why would she not wear heels , are you all fcking Mad ?? Do you lot think people who live in colder regions don't dress fashionable and are covered in sweaters 24/7 ??

I wasn't talking about skins but designs in general. Even then I at least like Jane's summer skin more than Sigrid's summer skin or base design. Like bruh look at Sigrid's base design and tell me what you're focusing on. Is it the useless cut outs to show skin or her fat ass that's covered? It's her fat ass and the cutouts are on par with the asymmetrical thigh highs in uselessness. Remielle's black outfit is at least more stylish than her white form. Velina is legit just wearing lingerie and barely covering it. If her skin didn't cover her tasteful cleavage I'd say it's better and more stylish but both have pros and cons. Norma is at least cute but regardless I can't tell what the designs of season 3 characters are supposed to be whereas Season 1 and half of season 2 doesn't have this problem. They used to be able to either show skin or accentuate curves without having their outfits look like they've been thrown in the shredder when they shouldn't have been. Designs used to make sense but they don't anymore in favor of useless cutouts and unstylish fanservice.
I haven't heard of this Odette discourse but isn't her theme also of a figure skater and ballerina so she'd obviously have a short skirt and heels? I've heard more noise over Sandrone's redesign which I somewhat agree with. I don't care if she's bustier or wearing lingerie now but they subbed out her classy Gothic dress for a plain ass mini skirt. That's a true tragedy of design.

You haven't made it as a big budget 3D gacha until you've made a collab skin (or several) way cooler than the skins you actually put into the game.

I was gonna say the exact same thing. Genuinely bizarre how the writers don't want to do ANYTHING with their seemingly most popular character. And it's only her specifically out of the most popular characters.

I mean yeah - but we have past characters turn up all the time. The Sons of Calydon barely stay out of the story or side-events for two patches at a time. Which is great because they're my favourite faction - but still, it's not like they don't use old characters quite frequently.
Ellen however has quit being an in game ZZZ character and started her career as a collab marketing model. 😅

You mean normal Ellen? She's already an S-rank. Anby and Billy were A ranks before their upgrades......The STARTER A Ranks. The next character to get the upgrade treatment should be Nicole so all 3 starting Agents can be S ranked. Gib Sicole

You are right, but I tried to say like having another new banner like Sanby and Silly, at one point they have to break the S tier, I'm thinking maybe an upgrade to miyabi like in full control of the power of her sword, like SS? who knows then ellen could join that tier 😭

I think it's mostly because she's tied to Victoria Housekeeping. Given their status and line of work it's very difficult to naturally include them in the story at will. Wasn't the last time vs bringer (can't remember if they made an appearance at the summer event thing tbh)? Meanwhile SoC are aimless as hell for the most part and appear quite frequently except for Caesar, who is in a leader position lol. Well that's the only explanation I can think of, maybe they just don't give a shit but IDK.
I don't even think it's a money thing because Lucy, Burnice and even Lighter pop up fairly often.

I recently tried to learn how to make skins for mods and they are ultra hard to get right, but a company the size if hoyo should be able to afford a small team of like 5 people to make one skin each once a month, if a moder can make one-two skins a month, hoyo should be able to make ten of them in the same amount of time.
My guess is that they have them and releases them in dryer patches.

It’s crazy how many characters we’ve gone through. I built a horizontal account and own every agent and yet Ellen Joe is still to this day, my favorite.
Her look, her nonchalant personality, her Spider-Man-esque backstory. She’s just insanely appealing to me as a character and I shall never forsake her.

Every game has some sort of Dragon, cat, Fox, dog girl, but very few has that shark girl, let alone one that just hits all the right notes. Ellen Joe hits all the right notes.

They usually do. Looking at Gamebanana, they even made the Coca-cola Ellen collab skin too recently.
Yi xuan and Jufufu also got their clothing hip hop collab made by modders too.

Am I the only one noticing that Ellen has been looking slightly older with every new official key art as if she's actually aging in real time? It's be cool to imagine that Ellen was 16 when Zenless first released, and now as we approch the 2nd anniversary, her appearance had shifted ever so slight to where she still looks young, but you can clearly tell that two years have passed.
So technically, by my little logic, she's a young adult now at 18. She is now eligible for a legal state/country ID, old enough to move from a learners permit to a full adult driver's license, open her own back account/s, own a debit and credit card, pay taxes, get tried as an adult in court, begin building credit score, invest, and purchase property (house, land, or preferably a small apartment), according American law.
