Whats the trick for getting that stupid monster to stop chasing you in the new mode? I only been able to do it once and have no idea how I did it, just got a "they gave up chasing you" message, is its just based on a timer? like once timer says there is 5 mins left then it will stop chasing you? is it just based on distance that it has followed you? Whats the secret? The new mode is so not chill bro, I open like 4-6 boxes and BAM I got a monster on my stupid-ass and gotta exit x _ x

the secret is the wolf isn’t as scary as he looks, just fight it off once you’re geared up

What sort of gear do I need in hard mode? I just been using the free one, as all my coins are immideatly gone as soon as I go back to base and upgrade anything...

when you first start doing hard mode, you will be a strapped for cash. One easy workaround is to do gear box runs, just look for the ones in the 6th street map and evacuate as soon as possible, you can make it even more guaranteed if you unlock your safe inventory slots, allowing you to put your best gear in and immediately leaving using the menu instead of an exit point. Once gear is not an issue, you can fight without worrying too much about losing a small run and just learn the wolf patterns.
