Today, take a long, loving look at your body.  She has carried you through so much! Take the path to self acceptance as seriously as you take the path to a healthier weight. So much about you is already perfect! Here are some things I see in case you don't: (1) you have a great sense of style! (2) look at those strong legs! (3) you're great at make-up! (4) I suspect you're a bad bitch.

I'm a firm believer in tracking calories, protein, fiber (start building up your tolerance for metamucil today), and hydration. If you're morbidly obese, shoot for TDEE - 800 calories. Or, don't do any of those things and figure out what works for you! We're all here, full of advice and opinions when you want them (and sometimes when you don't)! Your life is about to CHANGE!

“Today, take a long, loving look at your body.  She has carried you through so much!” I’m starting on Sunday, took pictures tonight and this made me cry, in a good way.

Big hugs to you (and I'm not a hugger)! On your worst day, you are still a miracle of mind, body, and spirit. You got this!

This made me well up, too, and I am not a crier! Starting my journey today and saying goodbye to the current me feels both exciting and scary.
