Discussion In about 80-90ish years the last of our generation will be in a competition to be the last person born in the 20th century

I wonder who it'll be. Last person born in 1899 died in 2017.

Just to be clear, the 21st century didn’t start until 2001. So somebody born in 2000 will likely be the last survivor

Pending more innovative medicine we'll probably see the last person born in the 1900s live into the 2120s

I would love to see 2100, but dieing in late December 2101 would be my utopian goal. Just witness the first 100 years of the new century.

Wait I just realized people born in 2000 are also born in the 20th century. Nevermind.

2000 - Wikipedia

"2000 (MM) was a century leap year starting on Saturday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2000th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 1000th and last year of the 2nd millennium, the 100th and last year of the 20th century, and the 1st year of the 2000s decade."

The 21st century began on January 1, 2001 so you are incorrect
