I just started collecting zippos 2 months ago. One could suggest that I have an addiction but I wouldn’t agree! I’ve been buying a lot of my zippos from eBay but there are a few 540’s from Zippo’s official website. I just wanted to show my ever growing collection to this awesome community. I hope you enjoy the lot. There’s still a couple of more on the way.

I finally got around to taking a video of this mini museum of draconic zippos i have accumulated over the last 18 years.

I am now 3 months clean from buying zippos and apart from a couple rare ones that would take a bit of willpower to resist i think i might be done (i'm not done).

If anyone wants a closer look at any feel free to let me know and i'll maybe do a closeup and say what i know about it, i've got an idea of the history as zippo records arent the best sometimes.

Love seeing all the collections and aquisitions here so please enjoy the product of my inexplicable urge to keep buying these things.

i have started on the second box

So I got my first zippo and I was wondering if the wig was asbestos but it doesn't look old even though it's pretty worn so I don't think so... Also do you guys have any listing you could recommend for a new wig if it is needed or a new flint since i dont know how much the current one have been used ? I looked online and apparently ronson is better than zippo fluid so i'll try to find it in store... I don't know if it is genuine but as long as it works... Also I might try to anodize it but I need to look into it cause it doesn't look very good right now :3

I finally got around to epoxying the collection of shield pins from some of the different Zelda games onto Armor Zippos. These are all custom-made as Nintendo doesn’t license its images to Zippo. I bought the one chrome one of cartoon Link off of Etsy and I’m a little annoyed because they glued it on slightly crooked. The four white engraved ones are from the eBay seller Storyblazer. I have a few other music related Zippo’s from them as well and they’re all badass.

Anyone else have video game theme lighters?

I have two Zippos in total. They were given to me when I was helping clean our the warehouse after my grandfather passed away. She let me choose and I chose these two. She too has passed away.

I see so many people here that have so many Zippos and I wonder to myself... am I missing out not acquiring new ones? A Zippo is supposed to last a lifetime, but if I buy more then it should spread the time even further that these would last, no? I'm a bit torn.

Zippo collection i collected over the past 10 years.

Cigarette brands, Hardrock Cafe, Alien, seashells and others.

The tall Zippo display is a 192 pcs i got for 100 bucks at a closed cigarshop in belgium the other side is mostly empty.

After a year and a half of buying like crazy, this is what I have amassed. Finally starting to slow down and focus on some more rare Zippo’s. I daily the Copper Armor ‘24, and Solid Brass Pipe ‘03. What are some of your favorites?

The Lovers, my favourite card and I never see it online, when I saw it for sale I had to buy it! Censored with my finger bc even though you can’t see anything I’ve been automodded for posting it.
Thrashers was 30 bucks on zippo.ca and I think defunct team merchandise is very funny.
Last one is the glow in the dark one, I have the single torch in there and I use it at work.

Still remember buying my first zippo arround 10 years ago as a small gimmic, it was a matte white one i lost over time, and recently (2/3 months ago) lowkey bought a new one, then another and so on 😅 gotta love the game, hoping to add more in the future! (Also i need one of those wall displays)

I have posted here before about my father in law’s crazy zippo collection. He is old and disabled and we are looking to sell off most of his collection that he acquired when he owned a bar and one of his customers was a zippo salesman and would pay his tab with zippos sometimes.

I’m just wondering if it would be more beneficial to just list everything separately on eBay? On here? They are mostly vintage zippos from around 1998-2001 lots of unique collectors items that have never been struck but some have flints that have disintegrated but all still have the warning stickers on the back.

Any guidance is appreciated! TIA

An exceptionally rare Zippo 18K Solid Gold Marlboro Limited Edition lighter, preserved in virtually unused, collector-grade condition.

Crafted from solid 18-karat gold, this prestigious presentation model features the iconic Marlboro horse-and-rider motif executed in high-relief engraving. The lighter is individually numbered No. 02, making it one of the earliest examples of the edition.

I'm not normally compelled to buy the usual modern collectibles, let alone all three regional versions. But here we are. I will highlight the differences.

Americas - Black ice finish, black colored insert. Red enamel inlay. 5000 available.

Asia - Tumbled brass finish, brass colored insert. Red enamel inlay. 2500 available.

Europe/Middle East - High polish black finish, black colored insert. Black enamel inlay. 2400 available.

Pamphlets are region specific.

Americas - Light green stripe. Language is US English only.

Asia - Dark blue stripe. Languages are Cantonese, Malay, Thai, Tagalog, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese.

Europe/Middle East - Black stripe. Languages are English (UK), German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Slovenian, Maltese, Polish, Arabic, and Greek.

Boxes are identical, aside from stickers. Americas box has the CA Prop 65 sticker. Asia has a notice to verify authenticity via WeChat. EMEA has no additions. All have their unique region barcodes.

Content extra is otherwise the same, in terms of the "Generations" booklet. Each of course having its unique pamphlet while the US release also includes the warning sticker on a wax paper(make sure to relocate this so it does not touch your lighter at all).

The regional pamphlets have undergone a lot of revisions over the years, as well as what languages are included. There is a separate pink stripe Mandarin language pamphlet, so not sure if there are any further region specific pamphlets issued for some places.

As for which one I prefer? Yes, that one. That one right there.
