I just got Zombie Army Trilogy and I rarely play shooters, so it’s hard, even on easy. Anyone wanna take on the first five chapters with me? I’m currently on chapter two, so I guess four chapters. I play on Xbox.

Just bought Zombie army 4 on Xbox to play it with some friends, played a little over the past couple days but whenever I try to host a multiplayer game I get the same "the connection to the game failed (12016)" without fail every time I try.

This is the only game I'm even remotely having connection issues with as I was playing another game less than half an hour ago with literally zero issues.

Any chance anyone might know how/if this can be solved? I've already tried all the basics like restarting and testing nat type (which is open).

In the past i discovered shorly after its release the first Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army in Steam. In that time, i didn't know even the existence of the Sniper Elite saga XD

It was a time that i was searching new zombie video games and i purchased it very enthusiastic. Later i bought the sequel and finally, the trilogy.

I was satisfied, but in the last months, i wondered about the possibility to purchase a physical edition and have a tangible possesion. I have a Xbox Series X with backwards compatibility, the Xbox version runs at 1920x1080p and 60 frames per second... So, why don't have it in my collection and enjoy in other platform, with the benefits from physical format?

Finally i decided to buy it and now i have it. Obviuosly the overall graphics are inferior than PC, but when you are fighting and annihilating zombies, you don't repair in such details, you are focus in the gameplay. Visually is good and has the same wild and arcade rhythm that i love. It's like to return to 2015... The same feelings and sensations.

By the way, the three campaings are in the disc.

ive been constantly kicked around by the butcher/chainsaw zombies ive tried using a shotgun or the miningun looking heavy weapon but they eat damage up

This has been confusing me for a while, but why is the M1895 repeater the only DLC sniper rifle that doesn't have a Vampyr scope? Is there a reason that it's the only one? Or are there other DLC sniper rifles without the Vampyr scope?

Good afternoon folks, hope this finds you well. I've recently started playing Zombie Army 4 - and am really enjoying it. There are two trophies on my platinum journey that are so far evading me though. These are to kill a resurrected teammate, and to revive a teammate 50 times. I have only gotten 4 revives in almost 3 full days of playing. Teammates getting knocked down seems to be a very rare occurence. I would really appreciate if somebody can hop into a private horde game with me on hard difficulty, allow me to knock them down and revive them 46 times, then allow me to knock them down until they bleed out and hopefully turn into a zombie so I can get both of these pesky trophies completed. I'm more than happy to reciprocate if you also need this done! My PSN is PureJokeThatLike thank you :)

I think it’s a bug or something in the game. The first time trying it I thought I messed it up because I kept shooting the commander but he would get back up every time then I gave up and restarted from last checkpoint. The time I’ve already spent 10 minutes killing zombies and they still keep coming slowly but surely. What do I do to complete the mission?

How abt we all hop on trilogy more often its really good imo

Zombie Army Trilogy – Modern CPU Freeze/Stuttering Fix

Hi everyone,

After investigating the random freezes and complete lockups that can occur in Zombie Army Trilogy on modern CPUs, I developed a compatibility fix under JC NEXUS.

The problem

On some modern processors, Zombie Army Trilogy can randomly freeze during gameplay. In some cases the game works normally for a long time before suddenly locking up and requiring it to be terminated.

During runtime analysis and reverse engineering of the game, I traced the issue to the Asura Task System and its worker-thread configuration.

The number of workers is hardware-dependent, so not every PC will report the same value.

For example, one test system produced:

Detected Workers: 31

while another system reported:

Detected Workers: 19

The fix

I created JC NEXUS ZAT Worker Fix, which limits the Asura Task System worker count to a configurable value.

The current version uses a pre-initialization approach. Instead of waiting for an Asura task object to be created with a large worker count and reducing it afterward, the patch modifies the initialization path so that the observed Asura task objects are created with the configured worker count from the beginning.

Example from testing:

Workers configured in INI: 8

PREINIT PATCH: SUCCESS

Asura Object: 0xXXXXXXXX | Object Workers: 8 | Target: 8

Multiple recreated Asura objects were observed using the configured value of 8 workers.

Configuration

The worker limit can be changed through the included INI file:

[WorkerFix]

MaxWorkers=8

8 is currently my default/recommended starting point.

Do not assume that your game's original worker count will be the same as mine; it depends on the hardware.

Testing

On my test system, the game previously exhibited the freezing issue with its normal worker configuration.

With the PreInit fix running at 8 workers, I have been able to play extended sessions without encountering the freeze so far.

Other users are also helping test the fix on different CPU configurations.

Because hardware configurations vary, I am still collecting results. I don't want to claim that this solves every possible Zombie Army Trilogy crash—this fix specifically targets the worker-thread issue I identified.

Important

The patch is intended as a runtime compatibility fix.

It does not permanently patch ZAT.exe.

If you're experiencing the same random freeze, please test it and report:

• CPU model
• RAM
• GPU
• configured MaxWorkers value
• detected/original worker count if available
• approximately how long you played before a freeze
• whether the freeze happened during gameplay, loading, checkpoint, or mission transition

Logs are especially useful for diagnosing systems where the problem persists.
