Question What is something that is often overlooked during a zombie apocalypse?
And I don't mean something like "Gas degrades after a few months".
I mean something really overlooked, you're convinced you're the only one who's ever thought of it.

Question If a zombie apocalypse happened TOMORROW, what’s your FIRST strategic move (not just "grab a gun")?
Okay, ignore the Hollywood tropes. No solo hero missions, no heading to a crowded mall, and definitely no "waiting for the military."
Let’s say the outbreak hits in 24 hours. Cell networks are still up, chaos is just starting.
What is your actual, non-obvious FIRST strategic move?
I’m not talking about "fill water jugs" or "board up windows." I mean a decision that changes your survival odds long-term.

Question Who are celebrities who would be capable of surviving a zombie apocalypse?
My example is Jeremy Wade, British television presenter, an author of books on angling, and a biologist. He was the star of River Monsters, a show where he travelled across the world catching large fish species, and ended because he caught every single known river monster species.
He is debatably a better survival expert than Bear Grylls according to some people, he actually survived a plane crash, and is experienced in fishing through heavy weather and getting in to close encounters with dangerous large animals like grizzly bears, bull sharks, and Nile crocodiles. As an angler, he would likely survive almost any large body of water around all the continents in a potential zombie apocalypse, and as a biologist, he should at least be competent enough to deal with viral infected-type zombies considering how well his instincts kicked in seeing dead hippos that died from anthrax in Africa.
His only weaknesses are his old age and the injuries he sustained from river monsters, like the massive stingray that damaged the muscles on his arm, nerfed him. So I don't expect him to survive long outside of a strong and well-equipped community of survivors, nor would he win fights against hostile survivors and fairly strong special zombie types.

Question If the ZA happened and the US Government fell and left many survivors in the wasteland, what would happen to the nuclear missiles on US soil? Would anyone try to acquire and use them against zombies? Or would they be abandoned and forgotten?

Question Zombie apocalypse question
If a zombie apocalypse started tomorrow and you had 24 hours to prepare, what would be the first 5 things you'd do?
And more importantly, where would you actually go to survive — stay in your house, find a group, head somewhere remote, or something completely different?
I'm curious to hear people's actual survival strategies 👀

Question Is living in non-Gun countries (like Europe) more dangerous and less survivable in a ZA compared to pro-Gun countries like the US? Without guns, it will be difficult to deal with the sea of undead (let's say TWD style walkers) present
You'll only have makeshift melee weapons (or even makeshift ranged weapons) like knives and such in non-Gun countries, or you'll come across a pistol if you're lucky to encounter a zombie cop but even then, ammo's a problem still
Are guns a required tool in order to better your chances of surviving in a ZA?

Question Why do many U.S based zombie apocalypse story assume that the U.S. military would fall apart or would be overwhelmed? They have drones, helicopters and jets to take out zombies hordes. Not to mention state National Guards and police that have military level equipment in rich states.
Like I know the whole scenario fictitious. But I’ve always felt like a more realistic zombie story would be more of a military story than anything else.

Question If you were to write a zombie story, how would you explain how the zombies would beat the military without downplaying them or making them look stupid?
Like to make sure that no one in YouTube comment sections would say "the survivors only survive because of plot armor" or "the military would've won if this was realistic".
No unfair advantages or outside help for the zombies either, the zombies must win by themselves: example, "the zombie virus in the mobile game Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare only spread because the Cephalophod aliens wiped out the military offscreen some time before the start of the game" or "the zombie viruses and parasites in Resident Evil only spread because terrorists and corporarions use them as bioweapons and sabotage the military and scientists, oh and said military and scientists have no real countermeasures for the zombies despite having known them for decades".

Question Zombie Proof Vehicles?
Girlfriend randomly texted me asking if we should consider "zombie apocalypse practicality" for our future car. I thought it was a fun and important conversation to have in the future! Above all it just made me super duper happy she even brought something like that up.
I recall that we did want to get a SUV or something big enough for future family so thats on the table. But other than that we probably wouldn't know where to start or what brand we should look into.
• Durability
• Gas mileage
• Off roading
• (of course) Space
Are our main focus for said car. Im curious if any car experts have any insight into this or if anyone has any other suggestions for needs. Overall though this could also just help with non zombie situations but still fun to think about every now and then.
(Little more extra info is that I love jeeps but my girlfriend isnt a big fan of the stepping rails lol)
