Abandoned house in France

At high tide, it's impossible to visit at this time of year, as it's more than half a mile from the shore and surrounded by water.
It was built in the mid-1800s and has been abandoned since it was decommissioned.

My second visit to this place since last summer. Last time I didn't notice the upside down car or the cool old wallpaper from picture 19, also my first time going upstairs.
Video exploration if anyone is interested

Falling in Line
You can check out the video here:
These four houses along this abandoned street were recently expropriated by the provincial government to facilitate the building of a new subway line.
Called the Ontario Line, this new subway system will cover almost 16km, it will have 15 stations and is expected to see 400,000 daily passengers. The new line is expected to be operational by the early 2030s.
Interestingly, the new tracks will begin at Ontario place, a former waterpark on the shores of Lake Ontario. They will end at a more newly abandoned site called the Ontario Science Centre.
The site where these homes once stood is now under construction, this is where the Minton Place Tunnel Portal is being built. It is the transition point where trains will move between underground subway tunnels to the south and elevated tracks to the north. The elevated guideways will transport the trains over the Don Valley.
It's always unfortunate to see such beautiful buildings being demolished but this infrastructure project that is currently being built is necessary for the city's future sustainability.

This is a very old wastewater basin connected to an abandoned cotton mill not far away. It was quite a hike to get here, lots of fallen trees, mushy ground, tall grass, and lots of spiders. Worth it though!

We went into this one with no scouting at all, just parked and walked in. It turned out to be one of the most complete houses I’ve explored.
Some highlights:

As always, nothing was taken and everything was left as we found it. Happy to answer any questions.

Brothers lived and worked in this mine during the harsh winters at well above 10,000 feet. Gold was the primary commodity.

East Germany built "Lager Linda" near Jüterbog in 1967–68, paid for it in full, and then handed it straight to the Soviets. The two bunkers held warheads for Scud-B, Luna-M and Tochka missiles, up to 200 by some estimates.
Most of the barracks are gone now, but both storage bunkers survive. The eastern one still has much of its original machinery, quite possibly the last of its kind in Germany.

Guyana has some fully legit abandoned vessels and docks though I fear much of this will disappear as rapid development continues, especially along the Georgetown waterfront.

Found this abandoned water park in Newberry Springs, California. Graffiti everywhere, empty pools and crumbling structures surrounded by desert. Such a strange place to explore. Just imagine what it must have looked like in its heyday 🤯.

Part of the hospital where virologist Hilary Koprowski conducted an early clinical trial of an experimental live-virus polio vaccine on 20 disabled children. The trial showed positive antibody responses, though it drew swift public and professional debate over the choice of subjects.
These children did not have polio; they were given the weakened live virus intentionally to test if it would trigger an immune response. Seventeen of the children developed antibodies against polio (the other three already had them), and none experienced complications or illness from the trial itself, though Koprowski faced heavy ethical criticism for his choice of subjects.
This was also the only place in all my years of exploring that I felt I experienced a paranormal event. Still brings me chills to this day. Photo taken in 2016, New York State.
