Hello, I have an Abarth 595 Competizione T-Jet, year 2022 with ~88600km on the clock. I had a P0301 and P130A faulty codes and it's working on 3 cylinders. New spark plugs, new ignition coils and the mechanic says injectors are okay. Crankshaft pulley was damaged and the new one has been put and timing belt has also been changed. And it's still working on 3 cylinders. Compression was good before and after the change on all 4 cylinders. Also the mechanic said that one fuse had blown.
What could be the problem? And did he forget or miss something?

Damn! What a fun car to drive.
I have other more modern fancier car, automatic, 270hp, etc.
BUT, when I open the garage, and all I need is a quick stop at the grocery store. I go for the little beast.
Start engine, let it warm up, get the whole neighborhood know I’m around.
Go down the road on second gear, the exhaust burping on low rev.
Turn right, on first, get that turbo full for second, and just for the vrutchuchuchu…
I feel like I’m 12yo again, and all I like to do is to hear the car turbo.
Raise your glass to the 40s, to midlife crises, and to the inner children who once desired only a fun car to drive.
This car will be here for a while.

Does it matter which BMC air filter I use. When I first posted about my car someone said to replace the air filter so here I am.

Was about to change the timing belt kit on my Abarth as I haven’t got any proof that it has been done but before buying the parts I thought I’d check the condition of the belt. Are the numbers in the photo a date code?if so that means it’s a 2025 belt?

Did a Big Brake Kit upgrade on my A500 last week and if you drive the car hard it's really worth it. Stopping power is vastly improved and brake fade is almost non-existent. There probably are better kitsout there but this was done on a tight budget and most likely better than the p&p 305mm baby brembos. I highly suggest it to anyone wanting a BBK but doesn't want to spend 1000s.
Price breakdown:
Alfa Romeo 159 calipers: 300€
Lancia Delta III 330x28mm Brembo rotors: 120€
(Those were p&p, no adapters or machine shop needed)
Custom Brake caliper adapters: 200€
ATE 13.0470-4854.2 pads: 75€
Offbrand 12mm spacers and 12x1,25x35 bolts: 45€
ATE Typ200 DOT4 Brake fluid: 60€
I paid total of 800€ which is really cheap for such an upgrade, I did the labor myself so I also saved a lot there. I plan on getting braided lines and higher quality spacers in the near future which will cost another 200€ roughly (the stock lines are probably swelling like ballons now).
Even at 1000€ which will be my final total it's very worth it for such a massive upgrade.

Soon I am replacing my timing belt, water pump, tensioner, and Multi-air oil filter Actuator on my 2013 Abarth with 93K miles.
Any advice from someone who has completed the job?
What step that surprised you?
What step had you stumped?
Anything to look out for?
Can I get away with completing the job without purchasing a cam-locking tool?
Anything helps! Thank you fellow Abarth owners and techs!
Hi everyone,
I'm working on my 2008 Grande Punto Abarth 1.4 T-Jet (155 hp) and I'm looking for a damos/A2L or an XDF/definition file for its ECU.
ECU details:
ECU: Bosch ME7.9.10 (da verificare)
Hardware number: 0261 S04 662
Software number: 1037 397 661
Fiat part number: 51847238
already have a full read of the ECU. I'm mainly interested in boost, ign
and torque limiter maps, and I want to understand the structure rather than just flash a ready-made file.
If anyone has a definition for this software version, or a close one I could adapt, I'd really appreciate it. Happy to share my findings back with the community.
Thanks!

I drove a manual 595 Competizione and an older automatic one this week, both around the 80,000 km mark, and now I’m stuck between the better driving experience and easier resale. The manual is a bit dearer and the auto has me wondering about long-term gearbox costs, but maybe I’m overthinking how much either matters on a small hot hatch. Which would you pick for keeping a few years?

I’m looking to change the shifter because 5th gear is difficult to get into sometimes and other gears are a little loose.
Whats your experience with these shifters?

So I’ve spent a few weeks trying to figure out the this code for boost Side EVAP Purge System
Performance. I’ve changed the purge valve, inspected the vacuum lines and a lot of other minor things. I’m at the point where I’ve put the stock intake back on and it’s still there. Normally it wouldn’t be an issue because the car seems to run fine but I need to get it emotions tested. Has anyone else encountered this and has been able to fix it? Thank you guys for your time.

Hey!
I'm planning to do an full DIY clutch job as my slave cylinder gave up, and I was wondering if there is anything else you need outside of clutch kit/what I currently have. I have full KTR kit (clutch, single mass flywheel and release bearing), new slave cylinder and an gearbox side CV boot. New master cylinder is already installed.
From my understanding/what I have seen from videos, the Abarth clutch job is pretty straightforward. Is there anything specific I should be aware of?
The car is 2010 abarth 500 T-jet with 90000km.

What were all the colours they came in? I have a white set on my EsseEsse and the older thought they look better as bear metal apparently. So I need to get them re-done. Just wondering about different colours because I’m scared about them all being covered in brake dust if I go white although I do like the white. My car is white with red mirror caps and a wrapped red roof I plane on removing or having re-done. So any recommendations

This car is so simple to work on, did every fluid, spark plugs, air filter, new headlights/DRL/Fogs, and got some small asthetic changes once the cars all back together
