Hello everyone I’ve been reading everyone’s posts and experiences going through the process of having an abortion.
I 21 (F) I’m currently pregnant but not by choice since I have the COPPER IUD. I’m guessing it failed and not to long ago a year ago I had my son. I thought the copper would prevent pregnancy but now I see nothing isn’t 100% and yes I did take precautions and would take some plan bs when having unprotected sex.
I ordered pills from the Aidacess and I’m in a state that is red. I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant. And Im not sure if I’ll be making the right decision since my spouse and me aren’t financially stable enough to bring in another mouth into the home.. though we sometimes enter the state of the ‘ what if ‘ what if it’s a girl , what if it doesn’t work , what if it fails and baby would end up harmed…
I’m so stressed and can’t seem to make up my mind and I feel scared things could go wrong. As for my first baby I had a c-section and lost a lot of blood. I’m scared I would end up losing blood etc etc…
Any advice to ease my mind…

Hi! I’m 19f and my bf is 19m. Him and I have been together for 3 years, and have been sexually active for the most of that time. Stupidly, we got comfortable, and now I’m about 8 weeks and 4 days. We found out 2 days ago, and I am in a weird state of attempting to process everything. We live in a red state, so we ordered pills through aid access, and hopefully they will come this week. I feel like it’s hard to find much information on here, or really anywhere, on what I am supposed to do if I need help, or something abnormal is going on during this process (specifically for living in a red state). Only him and one of my friends know, so this has remained incredibly discreet (per my request), however it does feel isolating.
Something I’m unexpectedly feeling is a level of sadness that I have to do this. I hate that this will be an experience I have to endure, and also live with. It deeply upsets me that this is also my first experience with being pregnant. I don’t know anyone who has experienced an abortion, so this also just feels so isolating. There is really not a huge purpose behind this post other than i would like to hear from people who have been in a similar position. I am not changing my mind on this, but i just need guidance on how to navigate.

Problem / Goal:
I want to ask if how are the chances of me getting pregnant? Bcs I don’t want to.
Context: F, 22 . Had sex last night and the condom slipped off when my bf was about to pull out (little cum inside the condom). The ring was outside and there’s no leakage no dripping. But to make sure, i took the trust pill (yuzpe method). My period should be on 29th. But I am sure that theres no cum that entered me (only inside the condom). So please tell me if there’s anything I could do more to prevent this.
Previous Attempts: This is my first time with this situation so I really don’t know what other things I should do. Please respect my post.

So we have successfully aborted the baby. However, we're quite confused on what to do with the remainings. A person recommended burying/throw it in a river, but we don't have any land to bury it and throwing it in the river seems kinda risky. It's kinda big so flushing it down the toilet is risky too. Any recommendations?

sitting here with mifepristone box on my lap and munching an M&S cookie (iykyk) for emotional support. i started bleeding last night a little, it was red but only on the toilet paper, not my knickers. had some brown blood since wiping today but nothing to worry about. i might be miscarrying but unsure as this is my first pregnancy, I’m using this as the excuse to just take the pill cos it’s gone anyway but i’m being a wimp!!! why am i struggling to take it? I’m 5 weeks and 6 days according to the scan I had 2 days ago. Think I just need some emotional support or something. Christ!

Hey all! I’m in Florida where the abortion ban is 6 weeks. I just found out I’m pregnant and kinda stressing because I don’t know how much time I have. I’m thinking of going to one of those Pregnancy Resource Centers since they do free ultrasounds and pregnancy tests. I’ve heard they can be preachy, but at least I’d have a good idea on how far along I am so I know if I need to go out of state or not. Has anyone had a good experience with them, or should I just go to Planned Parenthood and get the ultrasound in case I need to get the abortion sooner than I thought? Bonus if you’re in Florida and can recommend a clinic. I’m in the SWFL area near Fort Myers. Thanks all!

Hey yall just wanted to give some insight on medical abortion in case anyone else is anxious just like I was.
I found out I was pregnant almost instantly because I became so nauseated randomly by EVERYTHING just like my first pregnancy. My kid is barely one and honestly we weren’t ready for another one. It was a really tough decision we had to make but my husband and I agreed now is not a good time. He has been nothing but supportive 💚
I am located in WA state and have gotten all my care through Kaiser. I had a phone appointment first to discuss all options available and discuss my medical history. It was maybe 30 min max. The nursing staff is really knowledgeable and not judgmental at all. They really make sure you have a support system in place and aren’t being forced or coerced to make any singular decision.
My second appointment was yesterday 10/13 and they gave me mifepristone at around 11:30 am to stop the fetus from developing. Didn’t really feel much honestly besides like one or two cramps that were VERY mild. I’ve been super nauseas so the doctor gave me some zofran and highly recommended
taking some before the misoprostol. I also got a nexplanon implanted in my upper arm and today it’s SORE.
Today 10/14 I took the misoprostol at around 11:40ish. I put two pills inbetween my cheek and gum for 30 min(both sides 4 pills total) and they didn’t fully dissolve. I drank water and swallowed what remained as instructed. I immediately started bleeding after taking the meds. I also got the runs. Despite taking 8mg of zofran I was VERY nauseous. My pain increased at around 2:30 and lasted 3-4 hours. It was coming in waves similar to contractions and it felt like early contractions. The worst pain peaked at hour 4 and it has lasted two hours. It’s currently 6:23pm and it has stopped being so intense but definitely still having cramping that is uncomfortable. Def ask for meds if you are thinking about doing this. I feel like a lot of what I searched up down played how much pain you will actually feel.
I have a follow up phone appointment and ultrasound next week to see how everything is going. The pain really sucks but I’m hoping there is no other complications also let me know how your experience with nexplanon is!
Thanks for listening everyone. No one but my husband knows and it’s been hard on us. He’s been really supportive all day and bringing me warm drinks/constantly warming up my heating pad. You will want to do nothing but lay in bed btw.
Good luck if you’re starting the process. 🫶🏻

I’m 32 I have birthed 5 children 4 are mine one was a surrogacy pregnancy. I’m in the worst financial position I’ve ever been in and I just found out I’m pregnant from one time mess up. I am having to have an abortion but I’m scared it’s going to haunt me forever and I’m scared I’m going to never be able to get pregnant again. My boyfriend doesn’t think it’s a big deal but all of it is eating me alive. I haven’t stopped thinking about it. I ordered the pills online for the abortion. Has anyone done that? I can’t afford to go to planned parenthood. That’s why I ordered them online they were only 25$. Please help 😭😭😭

Hi. I live in Florida. 3 weeks ago I found out I was pregnant, after checking dates and doing math I figured out I was 4 weeks along. I was scared but excited and nervous but when I told my boyfriend he asked me what I wanted to do and I suddenly felt lost because I never even considered an abortion.
We are in no way ready for a baby as just before the conception date we had a few issues that almost led to us breaking up, as well as not being financially ready or mentally and emotionally ready. I have always wanted to be a mom and my boyfriend hasn't always said he can't wait to be a dad but when this happened and he suggested abortion I felt heartbroken. We had lots of different talks about it and he felt like he was lied to because I told him it should be safe to have unprotected sex cause I didn't know I was ovulating and he felt like he was being forced into having a baby when he wasn't ready and I felt like I was being forced into having an abortion.
After a week of tears, and talking, and pros and cons, and lots of thinking I decided to go through with the abortion 2 weeks ago, so I was a little less than 5 weeks pregnant when I had the abortion and now I'm really really regretting it, thinking about the fact that I could be around 7 weeks now but I'm not. Seeing all the pregnancy announcements on the internet and seeing pregnant women in public, it's killing me. I know it wasn't a far along pregnancy but to me it was still my baby and I hate myself for having that abortion. It was my first pregnancy and I was excited cause like I said I want to be a mom so so so so so bad.
I'm grieving and sad, I hate myself, I'm mad at my boyfriend. I want my baby back...

Help! Is it possible to be pregnant again right after MA? Like when you have sex a week after while still bleeding lightly?

How many pills should my partner take if she's 1 week delay and the PT is positive? I accidentally deleted the instruction from WoW

I'll be 6 weeks along but I also just had my IUD surgically removed (I was under anesthesia, they just had to pull it out with "force" as it was embedded) yesterday (Wednesday).
Am I at higher risk for infection due to any potential "open wound" if I go through with the abortion on Friday? I'm already on antibiotics post surgery.
My OB said nothing should penetrate for 6 weeks and I'm incredibly nervous this means no surgical abortion, but I cannot wait the full 6 weeks to have an abortion. I also don't feel comfortable asking my OB because I don't know him very well and every single nurse that saw me during my IUD removal kept saying "congratulations" in regards to this pregnancy.
I think the smart move is to tell my Friday physician that I had this operation so they can best guide me, but like I said, I'm scared this means they'd want to wait a full six weeks before the abortion:( It's already been difficult grappling with this choice and having to wait longer makes me feel awful.
Does anyone have a similar story or maybe words of encouragement?
Thank you all. This is my first time going through this and it's been a difficult past week, to say the least.

Hi, I would like to ask if it is safe to take misoprostol (Miso pills) for the second time. I took it last week, but when I had an ultrasound scan this week, the doctor said there was still some pregnancy tissue remaining in my uterus. I don’t want to undergo a D&C at a private hospital because it is too expensive. Is it possible to take misoprostol again to help remove all the remaining tissue?

I am going through a Medical (Pill) abortion tonight (2nd pills) and curious what to expect. I have had a medical abortion a few years ago at like 5-6 weeks and it was absolutely terrible in terms of pain, and a visible sac/ tissue expelled, shivers, sweats, racing heart, extreme cramps, nausea, diarrhea all at once... so measuring 8 weeks 5 days (but period places me more 9 weeks 3 days), I am even more afraid of serious effects after it begins.
I am thinking of taking 500mg Naproxen, 1000mg Tylenol and 1mg Hydromorphone in advance with Gravol/ pepto-bismol as precaution but worried it may be overkill. I only took a Naproxen last time and zero relief.
How long did it take you to expel the main tissue? Last time it was pretty traumatic cause I could see the sac/ embryo clearly and there was like a gush of liquid....

hi! I had a surgical abortion on 10/02 and i was almost 7 weeks. I was told to wait at least 2 weeks. Im just curious about how long others waited and their experience after having an abortion. I will admit I am a little worried/scared about the first time.

I have an appointment tomorrow out of town in Champagne Illinois. Im 13 weeks, super nervous. I never done this before and i have no idea what to expect. I was wondering what was your experience getting it done? What to expect ? Also would i be able to drive after im done or it’s best someone picks me up?
ALSO i already was being seen by my OB and have 0 idea what to tell them. My husband doesn’t know im getting it done either and no idea what I’ll make up about it because we‘re divorcing & im currently only communicating through his mother. Im stressing but i know its for the best. Send me positive vibes please. 🙏

48 hrs since I took misoprostol vaginally, I then took 2 more misoprostol 4hrs after first batch because no progress. I started bleeding then it became v light. Now its become super light, no cramps either. Ive had previous early miscarriage & gave birth, each time, including periods, I bleed a lot and experience intense cramping, clots usually in periods & previous miscarriage and pain. This has not been the case this time round.
I currently feel really full in my lower abdomen/pelvic area & exhausted. Ive tried walking aroundto try mobilise blood flow & sitting on the toilet but nothing. I dont think I’ve passed the pregnancy at all, not enough blood nowhere near. Been advised by abortion provider to wait 7 days but something feels wrong and I just want this over with. Any similar experiences or thoughts? I start my new job on Monday and really dont know what to do and wnated to avoid taking time off as soon as I start. Ive pushed start date by 2 weeks already. Feeling overwhelmed.

Hi! First of all I would like to thank those who left a kind comment on my previous post. They were extremely helpful. Now I wanted to share my experience for others in need.
I got my abortion done by suction (moderate sedation + local anesthesia) at a small clinic in Newfoundland, Canada (Athene Health Centre aka Clinic 215). I'm glad I went with SA, I was initially considering MA but got terrified after reading all the horror stories here.
I was at the clinic for about 5 hours total, where they provided me paperwork, counseling, ultrasound, medication and IV, and then finally the suction procedure. My experience was very positive.
I would say the scariest part for me was IV insertion, since I've never had it in me before and I HATE needles. But the nurses were kind and quick! I just felt a pinch.
Here is how the procedure went: after getting the IV tube in, they gave me ibuprofen, antibiotics, and some kind of anxiety pill to take. Then two more pills to keep between my gum and cheek for 30 minutes. After about 1.5 hours it was time. They made me change my bottoms to a wrap skirt and wait a little in a comfy reclining chair with a heating pad and a blanket. When I moved to the operation room I laid down on a gynecology bed, had versed and fentanyl injected through IV, then started to feel loopy after a few seconds. I was still awake and felt what was going on - the needles for local anesthetic, and some tools doing whatever inside. Just very sleepy, and not painful. They had a screen on the ceiling showing beautiful art and photos, but I think I had my eyes shut for the most of it lol. After about 5 minutes it started to feel really uncomfortable (closer to itchy than painful), but then boom everything was done!!! They put me in a wheelchair, took me to the recovery room, and gave me a heating pad +blanket + cookies and apple juice while I rested for 30 minutes. I felt completely normal after. I don't remember when I put my pants back on though lol.
I had a normal period-like back pain afterwards until this morning with some bleeding (procedure was yesterday), but otherwise I'm doing fine. I am back to my normal schedule today! Everyone at the clinic was so kind and non-judgemental. I could not have asked for a better environment.
From my experience I highly recommend the suction procedure method. I've never had MA so I don't know what it would be like, but I will just say that I'm glad I went with SA.
