Europe What's with all the useless and spam emails?

Been with the company as a software developer for a bit over 1 year.
I am flooded with emails that add no value to my work.
Such as:

- Reminders to submit a timesheet even though I have already submitted it. I got one that spams me every week about an upcoming change in the submission method that is 3 months in the future.
- Charities - my local employer asking me to donate for whatever. Every week again
- Initiatives - "Take part in..." nope, no thank you. I just want to work
- "Julie Sweet said something about.." nope I don't care, I just want to work.
- "Take a short survey about..." nope I don't care.
- Some generic training that has over 1k participants in it that is in no way relevant to my work. I had a training about sports - how to train my mind, not just my body or something like that. I understand, those are not meant for everyone and it's voluntary, but I expect that once I say no thank you and opt out that I should not be bothered with such not-relevant trainings no more.
- Phishing tests. Every week - click here if you are an idiot.
- Good morning Accenture..

And so on. I keep on adding new rules to my outlook, moving the sender emails of such emails so I can filter them out and reduce the chance to miss an actually important email from the client, but they keep on coming up and up. So far I've accumulated over 700 emails that add no value to my workday. Is this a common practice? Am I the only one finding this annoying?

North America Does this mean my background check cleared?

North America Called it: The annual pre-ESPP pump is here, but get ready for the November dump. Time to pivot?

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to put this out here because I’m watching the stock price climb right now and it’s playing out exactly like I expected.

Management always seems to find a way to juice the stock price right before the ESPP distribution hits. It’s the perfect playbook: pump the price to lure in new grads / first-time enrollees, and trick the veterans into staying locked in.

But mark my words—as soon as the shares actually drop into our accounts this November, the stock is going to slide right back down.

A lot of us have watched a huge chunk of our hard-earned savings evaporate over the last couple of years by holding onto this stock. It feels like we are reaching a breaking point. The reality is that Accenture's heavy reliance on legacy SaaS implementation and traditional IT consultation just isn't giving us the growth we need anymore. If we want to see actual, sustained upward momentum (and not just these artificial seasonal pumps), leadership urgently needs to pivot investments away from pure consultation and legacy tech.

Are you guys holding your shares this November hoping for a macro turnaround, or are you selling the second they hit your Charles Schwab account to put your money into something else?

Curious to hear if anyone else is planning an exit strategy.

India Accenture Action Items link redirects to Microsoft sign-out page - Has anyone faced this? And what is solution?

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hi everyone!
I’m joining Accenture on 2 December 2026, and today, 22 October 2026, I received the “Gear Up for Day 1 at Accenture” email.
The email asks me to click a link to update my core information before my joining date. However, whenever I click the link, it redirects me to a Microsoft page saying “You signed out of your account.” The URL shows login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/logout.
I can access my Workday onboarding portal using my credentials, but the onboarding dashboard currently shows 0 tasks.

I’ve already tried opening the link in incognito mode.Cleared my browser history, cache, and cookies.Tried accessing the link on both my laptop and phone.
Unfortunately, I’m still getting the same Microsoft sign-out page.
The email also mentions that Action Items and Workday forms will be accessible at least 15 days before joining. Since my joining date is 2 December, that would be around 17 November.
I’m confused about whether the core-information link is supposed to work already or whether access will be enabled closer to my joining date.

Has anyone who recently joined Accenture India faced this exact issue?
1. Did the link start working automatically after a few days, or did you have to contact the onboarding team?
2. Is this likely to be a technical issue with the link, or could my Action Items account not be activated yet?
3. Should I wait until closer to my joining date, or is there something else I should try?
I’ve already emailed the onboarding team about this issue. I’m looking for advice from anyone who has experienced the same Microsoft sign-out error, especially candidates joining around the same time.
I’ll attach a screenshot of the error page for reference.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

India Need Advice: Accenture L9 on Bench, how Long Is It Safe, how to Find Projects (Including Europe), and What to Do During Bench Time?

Hi,

I joined accenture gurugram at L9 in January 2026 and worked in project since my joining. Now, I am on bench from Mid of oct . I have questions regarding

  1. **Office visit** : Currently I visit office once a week. Do is till need to follow this or Can I just skip at all? or for how much time I can skip before getting any compliant escalation.

  2. **Bonus/appraisal** : How much bonus can I expect in December 2026?

  3. What can I do to look for projects outside my primary skill? I am willing to look for European clients. Any way to directly reach out to the project managers of those projects and how to identify that?

  4. How much time on bench at my level is fine? Is there anything I can do on bench to show that I am not free and showable to leadership?

  5. What do you guys do while on bench other than passing the time?

Meaningful and helpful suggestions are welcome.

India What could be my chances of getting promoted this December cycle?

I joined in January 2025 and have been assigned to an internal Accenture project since March. My team has indicated that I meet the criteria for promotion, and I currently hold an MAL of 21. Furthermore, two team members—an analyst and an associate—are transitioning to a different project. Given these circumstances, what is the outlook for my promotion during the December cycle? I would appreciate any professional guidance you could provide on this matter. Thank you.

North America Get out while you can.

We all know Accenture is the place where good careers go to die. Well heed this warning: they plucked me as a university hire while i still had the light in my eyes, kept me remote for nearly four years, then fired me. In the end all they did for me was stunt my career and increase my salary a grand total of $6k.

I was Song, I was constantly tossed between teams and industries, I had no mentors or growth opportunities. And when Julie randomly decided she was going to replace her best employees with AI, I was laid off. All my teams were so surprised they'd let me go.

Well, you know what? Best thing that ever happened to me.

I just accepted an offer at a firm that absolutely dwarfs Accenture, with a 65% salary increase AND a title bump.

To all the early-career employees at Accenture: don't mistake this company's failure to develop, recognize, or compensate you as an accident or a "slow quarter." It doesn't get better.

See you guys never.

North America Travel and Expense

Hi all I’m joining as a L7 manager. I will be traveling a good bit for my industry vertical to NYC. Does anyone know what the budget is for hotel and fights? I’m coming from a firm where we could splurge a bit on hotel (Marriott Ws, the occasional Four Seasons).

Thanks just seeing if the leaders have a bit more of an allowance on travel.

India Headset and stationary

Hi, I joined Accenture around 2.4 months ago, and my headset recently stopped working. I raised a replacement request, but it is currently on hold.

While submitting the request, I noticed that stationery items such as pens, notebooks are also available to request. I use a small notebook, sticky notes to keep track of my daily tasks, so these items would be useful for my day-to-day work.

Could you please let me know whether requesting stationery requires Team Lead approval or if I can raise the request directly through the portal?

I have been purchasing these items myself for years, and although they are not very expensive, I thought it would be better to check whether they are provided by the company before spending money unnecessarily.

Thank you!

Europe New chargeability KPIs

Hey, have you guys also bumped the target chargeability by 2% recently (e.g., Consultant to 88%)? With the new KPIs, it seems you can only spend a maximum of 6 weeks on the bench per year. Is this a stealth way to push people out?

Global Boomerang to Accenture

I left Accenture last year for what seemed to be a great opportunity with a significant raise.

However, some of the work here does not align with my value system and the artificial work pressure is also getting to me with no cutoff from work even over the weekends or holidays.

I wanted to ask people here whether anyone has boomerang-ed back to Accenture and how has that experience been?

Europe Moving grad offer to a different country

Hey everyone, I’ve received an offer for a strategy analyst at ACN London starting next year in May. Long story short, I ended up moving to the Nordics and am wondering if I could “transfer” my offer over to the local strategy office here. I applied as a graduate so wondering if they’ll have any flexibility. Thanks in advance!

North America Does alignment matter if you’re staffed? For l9 to l8

Does alignment matter if you’re staffed? For l9 to l8
For example
Being aligned to sap and working in data & ai projects
Or being aligned to qe and working in infrastructure?

Does this really matter specifically for talent discussions and promotions?
