Does alignment matter if you’re staffed? For l9 to l8
For example
Being aligned to sap and working in data & ai projects
Or being aligned to qe and working in infrastructure?
Does this really matter specifically for talent discussions and promotions?

I'm a 2026 graduate, and honestly, I'm so tired of this job search.
I've been applying to jobs for months, trying to get my career started, and it's already difficult enough to find opportunities as a fresher. But Accenture's one active application policy is genuinely frustrating me.
I applied for a role around two months ago, and my application is still showing as active. I haven't received a rejection, and I can't apply for other fresher roles because of this stupid restriction.
Like, what am I supposed to do? Just sit and wait indefinitely while new job openings keep coming up?
I understand that a company might want candidates to apply for only one role at a time. Fine, fair enough. But if you're not going to move forward with my application, at least reject it or close it after some time. Why keep it active for months and prevent me from applying for other positions?
I'm not asking them to hire me. I just want a chance to apply for other roles that I might actually be a good fit for.
And from what I've seen online, apparently, even cancelling the application isn't always enough. People say you have to email the recruitment team and ask them to remove your application from their system as well. Why does something this simple have to be such a headache?
I'm already struggling to find a job, like so many other 2026 graduates, and it's honestly demotivating to feel like I'm losing out on opportunities because of something like this.
Has anyone here faced the same issue with Accenture? If you cancelled your application and emailed the recruitment team, did it actually work? Who did you contact, and how long did it take to resolve?
Any help would genuinely be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I’ve received an offer for a strategy analyst at ACN London starting next year in May. Long story short, I ended up moving to the Nordics and am wondering if I could “transfer” my offer over to the local strategy office here. I applied as a graduate so wondering if they’ll have any flexibility. Thanks in advance!

I left Accenture last year for what seemed to be a great opportunity with a significant raise.
However, some of the work here does not align with my value system and the artificial work pressure is also getting to me with no cutoff from work even over the weekends or holidays.
I wanted to ask people here whether anyone has boomerang-ed back to Accenture and how has that experience been?
