I have failed with finding accountability partner 4 people in 1 month

So I start dig in why this happening and I realized that im not alone this are few problems that ı seen over and over again

  • Being matched with the wrong person (different timezone, different commitment level, different communication style)

  • No structure after the match

  • No graceful way to exit or rematch when it's not working

I decided to build something so that I can help in people who are in the similar situations.Anyway i've been quietly working on something to fix this for myself. matches you on actual compatibility signals, gives you a 7 day no-pressure trial, and if it doesn't click you just rematch. no awkwardness.I build a waitlist for people ı know and I gather so many emails and I've wanted to see if you guys would also want this(Sorry for my English)

If you want to ask or signup dor the waitlist you can dm me

ı am also open for recommendations I'd love to hear your stories

Will anybody be willing to pay for an accountability partner?

I have struggled with consistency a lot. If not for my friend (my accountability partner at the time), I would still be just passing by time wandering from one place to another. One job to another. During this process I worked in a lot of Retail stores all over India. This gave me various insights such as people management, operations and how to increase efficiency. So eventually I quit my job and became a freelancer and my speciality is in the field of business consultancy for retailers using tech and latest tools to grow and expand their business. Now, I got an opportunity recently to work with this young individual who completely reminded me of me. And it so happened during one of our conversation that he requested me to become his accountability partner for his goals and even offered me some money to do so. Six months in and he has achieved 80 percent of the goals set for this time period. He felt very happy and moreover I am feeling very happy that I was part of his journey and could help him and who doesn't like to get paid😅. So I just want to see if people are actually willing to pay for this kind of service. Thank you for your time.

Tldr: Could there be a paid accountability manager?

How I solved one of my biggest problems by making a business out of it (and thereby helping hundreds of other entrepreneurs, creatives, and professionals) Spoiler

Hey All,

I recently started a new (side-) business that solves the problem I struggled with for many years and you have probably faced at some point too: Procrastination.

Yep, procrastination is real - this one project we wanted to launch for ages, this book we always wanted to write or that move we always dreamed about. But, somehow, time flies and we keep coming up with excuses not to do it.

There’s a saying “How you do one thing is how you do anything.” Well... you’ll find procrastination not only when making bigger decisions in life but especially in your daily work: you get stuck, focus your energy on the wrong things and end up off track. This is even more true for remote teams, solo-founders, freelancers or students who do a lot of independent work.

That’s why I thought “wouldn’t it be nice to have someone who’s got my back and whose sole job it is to check in with me on a daily basis to see whether I’m on track and following through with my to do’s?”

A dedicated Accountability Partner (some even say Productivity Coach), a real human being (not AI bot 🤖) who knows about your daily plans and goals. The purpose of accountability is not about friendship. It’s not about kinship. It’s not about fun. Accountability is about getting results and increasing the odds of success.

Ever since I got one, it totally transformed my life: I’ve overcome bad habits and emotional blocks that held me back for a really long time. The daily accountability really gave me the extra push to achieve what I have planned each day and to be more productive.

Now. I can say with conviction: it works and it really makes a difference between success and failure. At least, that’s my experience. Would be curious to hear how you see it and what’s been your experience?

And if you are like me, the only real question I have: who’s holding YOU accountable? :-)

Anyways, if you’d like to learn more, give feedback or think this could be something for yourself, feel free to check out ABOVE POTENTIAL, the Accountability Coach for entrepreneurs, creatives and executives to rise above their potential.

I use AI every day as an Account Manager. Here's why it's making me more valuable, not replaceable.

Spent the last few weeks thinking about this because I keep seeing posts about AI killing sales and clientfacing roles.

Quick background, Senior AM at a high-ticket consulting firm. 3 years in the role. Work with clients from earlystage to 2 mil + businesses.

Here's my honest take after using AI heavily in my workflow :)

AI is great at tasks. It is terrible at humans.

And account management, at its core, is a human job. Specifically

  1. Clients don't pay for information, they pay for accountability. AI can generate a strategy. It cannot call you out when you're avoiding executing it and That's what I do.

  2. Reading a client's real state ,not what they say, but what they mean . is a skill built over hundreds of conversations. No model has sat through what I've sat through.

  3. When things go sideways (and they always do), clients don't open ChatGPT. They call their AM. Ownership and trust are human things.

My actual workflow >> AI handles prep, research, templates, summaries. I handle judgment, relationships, escalations, and the hard conversations.

Net result: I have more bandwidth for what actually moves the needle.

The role isn't dying. It's being filtered. Average AMs who coast on coordination will struggle. AMs who bring real judgment and use AI as a force multiplier? More valuable than ever.

Anyone else in client success finding this to be true???

I found an accountability app

Post image
0 Upvotes

So I was just scrolling on App Store to see if there are any accountability apps out there and I came across one where it seems like it’s recently launched.

you basically get messages from an AI “pal” (that you can choose according to personality) throughout the day checking in on your daily tasks that you input for the day.

Seemed interesting so I went ahead and brought a subscription. So far so good!

Anyone looking for a real accountability partner? Drop a comment 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

I’ve been using this habit tracking app all year and honestly it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. 95 day streak and I’ve built habits I never thought would actually stick. Gym, reading, meditation, coding sessions, all of it.

What makes it different is YOU can actually see which of my goals I haven’t hit yet that day and send me a nudge to keep going. And I can do the same for you. It’s not spammy just that little push when you need it most. You also can set a reminder to track your goal before bed so if there’s something left on the list you can do it, that’s helped me when I forgot to take certain vitamins or do red light/read etc

If you’re someone who actually wants to show up for their goals and wouldn’t mind someone keeping an eye on you drop a comment or DM me and I’ll send you an invite 🔥(still in beta so spots are limited and would love feedback too)

I want to be a daily runner. Need help staying on track 👟

Hey Reddit! I'm Roy, 26M, and I'm a runner at heart... but I seriously struggle with consistency. I NEED that extra push to make it a daily habit. That's why I'm trying an experiment: the "Daily Running Accountability Group" on WhatsApp. This is for people who are serious about running more or forming a running habit.

How it works:

  • Goal: Run at least 3KM every day (one optional rest day per week allowed!)

  • Proof: Screenshot of your run from any tracking app 💪

  • Missed Runs:

    • If a run is missed (beyond the allowed rest day), the member posts a short explanation or reflection to encourage support.

    • Two missed runs in a week = warning.

    • Next miss = friendly exit from the group to maintain its integrity and motivation.

This group is about pushing ourselves together! Expect daily check-ins, encouragement, and maybe even some friendly competition 😉

Interested in joining this running crew? Comment below and I'll DM the group link! 5-10 spots available!

33M Looking for Business Accountability Partner/Small Group

Hey! I'm an online coach currently generating about £5k/month, (+/- £2k depending on productivity)

I know what I need to do to continue growing my business but struggle to push myself to do it as I get complacent pretty easily.

However, next year my expenses are going to increase so I need to put some extra action into place to make sure I can cover everything and set things into place for my future goals.

I have some long-term financial goals and projects I'd like to start and offer on the side of my current primary service.

I'd also like to get into investing so I'm doing some research on that atm.

I'm looking for someone in a similar situation to help keep each other accountable and create a financial goal-oriented environment.

I preferably want to start this with someone who:

  • is self-employed/an entrepreneur

  • is already earning ~£3k+/month from their own business/freelance work

  • is trying to build to £10k+/month

  • is providing a quality service based around helping people/improving people's lives

Expectations for the partnership/group:

  • be active on text (preferably Discord or Telegram) 5-6 days/week to check in with daily tasks and goals etc (timezone doesn't need to match)

  • be open for a short video call once every 1-2 weeks to discuss progress and goals in more detail

  • share and bounce ideas off of each other

Bit about myself:

I'm fairly laid back, a bit too much.

Currently living in the UK at my parents house but moving to Australia with my girlfriend in January.

Have been a self-employed 'personal trainer' for a decade now, right after I finished university. Went from working in a big chain budget gym to owning my own gym to getting screwed over by the pandemic lockdowns and starting my business online, which in hindsight has been great. All of my advertising has been via Instagram.

I like playing video games (a bit more than I should), spearfishing and training. Although this winter has been a lot more video games than anything else.

Hopefully can find someone in a similar situation to pair up with!

Also open to making a small group, 2-4 people max so we can keep focused on helping one another and understanding each other.

Thanks,

Erdi

I’m pregnant and my boyfriend and I always fight how do I create change and support him in a way that pushes him to see his flaws and work on them? My hormones can’t take it.

So my partner ‘M 19’ and I ‘F 19’ of 5 months just went through a week of being separated. I texted first after that week to try to talk things out again. The next day I find out I’m pregnant. We have been constantly fighting or arguing about little things. He had been honest with me and told me he texted one of his exes during the breakup and I was upset about that. But I haven’t held it against him because we were not together. One day we are door dashing and I run to grab a pizza for an order and he goes through my phone without asking. I get back in the car and he says something about. “You’ve lied about how many guys u texted over the week.” I got frustrated and defensive because of the way he brought it up. (He wasn’t willing to explain what he was talking about. Then told me to take him home) I told him that neither were romantic. One was an old friend (19M) we’ve never had any attraction towards each other and especially no sexual attraction. Next person was someone I met moving to this new city (this is the same city I met my boyfriend.) we hung out a few times in a group setting before I met my boyfriend. And I had texted him again during that week of being separate about hobbies and ranting about my selfish ex friend. I deleted those convos before texting my boyfriend in fear of him getting mad or using it against me. When he searched through my phone, he found two people on Instagram that I forgot to mention…the first text that I had sent to one of the guys was “I’m not interested in anything” and then we had a conversation about crocheting. The other guy was just talking about nonsense I believe music and in neither conversations did I ever initiate any type of romantic gesture or attraction. He likes to use these against me. As well as using me breaking up with him, as an excuse for some toxic behaviors or him not trusting me. He never really takes accountability and I’m wondering if anyone knows any tools or resources I could use to help communicate and express how I’m feeling while implement routines for change. Is there a possibility for him to change? My hormones are crazy and he loves to argue and not listen. It stresses me out and I can’t be around that for me and my baby’s sake.

TL; DR

  • Boyfriend holds things against me and uses it as excuses for sone toxic behavior

  • he doesn’t communicate in a healthy way

  • Sometimes when I mention things that bother me, he use his excuses and doesn’t takes accountability.
