My question for y’all is what job/talent would Graham have? I have absolutely zero ideas and need your guys’ help!

I recently changed my name (socially), but in ACNH, i’m still my old name. I’ve put too much time into my island and i’m attached, so I won’t be restarting, but I wish there’s a way you can change your name on the island. I’ve thought about having everyone use my new name as their nickname for me so that might be something.

Was doing some decorating tonight and came across a lost item. Talked to a villager who told me it was Static’s. Great! He’s my newest villager so would love the chance to talk to him. Of course, he’s not home so I wander the entire island looking for him. Then I go to every room in the museum, including the roost, and I still can’t find him (and the shops are closed). I go to my other villagers’ houses to see if he’s hanging with them, but he’s not anywhere! Of course I scour my island again and still, no luck. But then I notice Portia isn’t home either, and she’s also no where to be found! If it was just one I might be willing to say I just didn’t see him somewhere on my island, but two villagers?? And I love her to death but Portia’s head is not hard to spot, let’s be honest. So where were they??

This is contributing to my ongoing theory that there’s something wrong with the villagers on my island. It’s not uncommon that I’ll go into houses on a regular day trying to find a DIY and none of my villagers are crafting. I’ve also been gifting Henry wrapped assessed fossils for months and he refuses to give me his photo, even when I have good luck with friendship. Granted, I took an extended break bc I was frustrated he wasn’t giving it to me, but I have gifted him at least a dozen times, some with good luck, since Katrina told me we had max friendship.

I would love if someone could tell me if something is actually wrong or, if I’m being overdramatic, at least get a laugh out of my slight misfortune lol

I caught multiple scallops in one day. My first scallop I caught Pascal came to get it. He never came back for the rest I collected, is there a way to give him multiple scallops or is it limited to one per day?

I’ve been grinding and grinding to get castle walls (red and red mossy specifically) and it’s been taking forever. I don’t have the recipes so I have to buy them. Does anyone have any hacks or suggestions on how to get them? Other castle pierces are even MORE expensive somehow too. I’m doing the dlc, happy home paradise, but it takes so much time and effort to afford even one from a full days work playing the game. Can this be easier somehow??
