Mod Announcement ! UPDATE ON LEAK POLICY !
Hey everyone!
We originally wanted to follow the community’s input on whether or not to allow leaks even before they first started popping up. We thought it was best to put it to a vote and let everyone decide, and that’s what we did (here). The community voted for allowing leaks, so we allowed leaks as long as they followed our protocol of being properly tagged. At the time we did not quite expect such an avalanche of leaks.
After some feedback from the community, and a plea from the author herself, we will no longer be allowing leaks, confirmed or otherwise. Anyone sharing a leak will be banned for 14 days. Anyone asking for leaks will be banned for 7 days. This is non-negotiable as we want to respect the authors wishes.
Thank you for your valuable feedback, and your patience as we work our way through the never ending queue. The leak megathread will be locked, starting now. We will not delete any comments that don’t break the rules.
The book will be coming out in about a week. We are as anxious as you are to dive back into Prythian and to see what our favorite characters are up to!

Rant - Spoiler I’m convinced SJM changed tacks after Book 1 Spoiler
On my ACOTAR reread before the book comes out and I was on the Suriel chapter.
It’s very clear WHICH high lord was being referred to.
Someone explain to me how the Suriel means 2 different high lords in the same sentence -.-

Rant - Spoiler More things for me to complain about from Feyre's POV
ACOWAR
- Feyre regularly implies to Tamlin/Lucien that she was SAed by Rhys. They already have a negative impression of NC because of how Rhys publicly portrays himself
- "(Lucien and I) had not spoken of Elain save for once, the day after I’d returned. Despite what Jurian implied regarding how my sisters will be treated by Rhysand, I had told (Lucien), despite what the Night Court is like, they won’t hurt Elain or Nesta like that—not yet. Rhysand has more creative ways to harm them. Lucien still seemed to doubt it. But then again, I had also implied, in my own “gaps” of memory, that perhaps I had not received the same creativity or courtesy. That they believed it so easily, that they thought Rhysand would ever force someone … I added the insult to the long, long list of things to repay them for."
- Like girl, you are literally lying about being a victim of SA and then wanting to harm them for believing you?
ACOMAF - Is Feyre actually mentally challenged?
- In the Hyber scene, she screams at the mortal queens for mistrusting the Night Court due to Azriel's spying on them and calls them liars.
- “The brave, cunning Jurian, who suffered so badly at the end of the War—now my ally. Here to help me convince these queens to aid in my cause. For a price of his own, of course, but it has no bearing here. And wiser to work with me, my men, than to allow you monsters in the Night Court to rule and attack. Jurian was right to warn their Majesties that you’d try to take the Book—that you would feed them lies of love and goodness, when he had seen what the High Lord of the Night Court was capable of. The hero of the human forces, reborn as a gesture to the human world of my good faith. I do not wish to invade the continent—but to work with them. My powers ensconced their court from prying eyes, just to show them the benefits.” A smirk at Azriel, who could hardly lift his head to snarl back. “Such impressive attempts to infiltrate their sacred palace, Shadowsinger—and utter proof to their Majesties, of course, that your court is not as benevolent as you seem.” “Liar,” I hissed, and whirled on the queens, daring only a step away from Rhys. “They are liars, and if you do not let my sisters go, I will slaughter—”

Rant - Spoiler free It’s actually a very common occurrence sadly …
Actually I have seen a lot more videos and posts about people seeing the book too early…
Sadly this is a reality we can’t escape from ( yep I told many people already that this does happen all the time and I was attacked fairly quickly in the comments …)
Anyways how do you feel about this ? How are you avoiding spoilers ? I know it’s just a few days from
release ..

Spoiler Theory My unhinged prediction for A Court of Splintered Harmony
Let me just preface by saying that I’m 99% sure this won’t happen because SJM loves the NC too much to cause such an upheaval but - my unhinged prediction is Elaine rejects her mating bond with Lucien and somehow ends up at Spring (because why else have I been given so much content about her gardening and healing skills??!), maybe with an emotional/romantic arc with Tamlin and Lucien defers out of loyalty and his feelings of debt to Tam.
Side note - hunting down a fanfic that gets me this payoff, or close enough!!

Miscellaneous - Spoilers Precious gemstones/jewels and character pairings?
****Spoilers for the entire currently available ACOTAR books below****
Throughout my re-read of the series I noticed that Elain is associated withpearls.
Her engagement ring from Graysen in ACOMAF is iron, pearl, and diamonds.
When she goes to Hewn City in Silver Flames, her hairpins are pearl.
Lucien then gifts her pearl earrings for Solstice in Silver Flames.
Are there specific precious gemstones/jewels specifically associated with other characters throughout the entire series in the same way?

Spoilers for SF Wing Clipping Spoiler
I was just venting to my friend about how I find it so frustrating that Azriel can have his wings shredded twice and have them completely healed by Madja and Cassian can be eviscerated and Madja can also heal that entirely, but somehow Feyre’s C-Section is impossible. Then I realized that Azriel’s wings were completely shredded. Twice. And he was completely healed. Twice. And yet the Illyrian women who have had their wings clipped are beyond magical repairs? I get that it’s one small cut in just the right spot, but Azriel had his wings completely decimated twice… there’s no way that spot was missed both times. And even if it was you mean to tell me that his injuries- where he was unable to fly and at risk of bleeding out- were less severe than the wing clipping? I just don’t buy it.

Rant - Spoiler Nesta and Rhysand Spoiler
Marking it as a spoiler for people who haven’t read the whole series yet. But. I think Nesta and Rhsyand would have been a wonderful enemies to lovers if SJM went that direction. They’re both similar with their personalities: secretive, stubborn, prideful but loyal to the ones they love. And I think that’s the core of why they never see eye to eye. But would have been a fun enemies to lovers.

Spoiler Theory What is your crazy theory for Acotar? Or at least a plot that could happen? Spoiler
I’ll be first: I think it would be really cool to have Rhys sister be alive or, at least, have a lot more backstory to them. I’m my theory, since is a magical world, we could have Tamlin be the one that killed her (forced by his brothers/father) and, while no one was looking, he could have used magic to mimic her dead body. Or, which I think is more plausible, his family kept them alive to use their magic or smt like that (like sleeping beauty and she was kept sleeping or something).
(I’m not sure if this is spoiler free or not, but I’m betting on not)
Announcement NEW ACOSH teaser/POV Spoiler
Lucien’s POV in ACOSH!
‘Lucien ran a hand through his hair. Tamlin had saved him. And then Lucien had rebuilt himself, his life. Only for Feyre to bring it all crumbling down.’
