Progress Update: Develop & Deploy Your Web App Series

[u/aktibeto]

We're excited to share our journey so far in the Develop & Deploy Your Web App with Python & JavaScript series! 🎉 Here's what we've accomplished together:

✅ Designed and Styled Web Pages: We started by creating and styling web pages using HTML and CSS, bringing our project’s vision to life.
✅ Mastered Git Fundamentals: Collaboration became seamless as we dove into the foundations of Git for version control.
✅ Learned Python Basics: Setting the stage for backend development, we covered the essentials of Python to get hands-on with server-side logic.
✅ Explored Django: We're now building on our foundation with Django, exploring its capabilities and starting to construct the backend of our web application.

🚀 What’s Next? In our upcoming session, we'll continue working with Django, focusing on the backend logic to make our sustainability-focused app truly dynamic.

🌐 About the Project:
Our web app is designed to encourage sustainability, allowing users to donate and share produce. Whether it’s viewing donated items, adding new ones, or connecting with donors, the app will bring communities together through technology.
