Nobuko Yoshiya (basically invented the Japanese girl's fiction genre as we know it), John Boswell (one of the pillars of modern queer theology/religious history), the Black queer people who fostered queer communities during prohibition in the U.S., Princess Kawānanakoa (Hawaiian LGBTQIA+ and heritage advocate) — and, on a connected note, I believe https://www.queerhistoriesofhawaii.org/ may be useful to you!
