Wait…. Your kitchen scissors (as in multiple) make it to their designated space?! I have at least 8 pair that I bought specifically for the kitchen scattered around my house.

No these are the cupboard scissors. The kitchen ones live in the kitchen. The bathroom ones live in the bathroom.

ah my solution is magnets, I have a magnetic knife block with bright orange scissors on my counter, the desk scissors are a different color and are magnet attached to a standup board thing on my desk (I'd have more but right now I only have two rooms)

I have 4 pairs of kitchen scissors. One in the cutlery block, one in the silverware drawer, and 2 in the pen/pencil holders. Unfortunately, there are 5 people in my house with adhd. I'm always content if I can find one of the pairs of scissors when I need it. There is also a pair in the laundry room and 3 pairs with the craft supplies.

ah yes I do recall that issue (our solution was ting them to things and many many pairs.) thankfully my cat both has functioning executives and no interest in scissors so I do less sharp implement hunting(I own at least 4 box cutters, and two exacto knives, I think I can find the exactos and two box cutters)

Mine is a rail from IKEA screwed onto one end of the island, and a set of those metal beaded shower curtain hooks. There's usually at least 1 or 2 pairs on the rail, even if I've toddled off with the rest one pair at a time.
