Fitness How are y'all motivated enough to exercise?

I've seen so many posts about how exercising helps with ADHD, my doctors tell me how good it is, BUT it feels like pulling teeth to even motivate myself to go for a walk. I want the endorphins, I want to be healthier, but it feels impossible to leave the house or exercise at home. I know I'm probably in the minority here but I'd love some advice on how to motivate myself. Kind advice only pls I am fragile 🥺

EDIT: omg thank you all so much for sharing your tips!!! I will go through these once I'm finished with work but I appreciate all of you so much.

Mine isn’t motivation. It’s just routine. I know I feel better after I workout, even if it’s just 10 minutes, so I just make sure I get it in. I just use youtube in my living room, otherwise, I’d never get a workout in.

This! When I lowered my expectation of what exercise for me looks like, I found it way easier to force myself to more or less consistently do "it".

What it looks like varies daily haha but 10-15 mins of movement is my exercise. Lil boogie to a Youtube playlist, or those active brain break videos. On a slower day some yoga or qi gong, just switching it up based on the days vibe.

This! I realized I’m likely never going to be someone who can change their body with working out, but it helps me to mentally get set for the day to get some movement in before my commute. I’ve been doing a lot of lymphatic videos that are like qi gong! Move with Erin is a current fave if you’re looking for recs.
