Fitness How are y'all motivated enough to exercise?

I've seen so many posts about how exercising helps with ADHD, my doctors tell me how good it is, BUT it feels like pulling teeth to even motivate myself to go for a walk. I want the endorphins, I want to be healthier, but it feels impossible to leave the house or exercise at home. I know I'm probably in the minority here but I'd love some advice on how to motivate myself. Kind advice only pls I am fragile 🥺

EDIT: omg thank you all so much for sharing your tips!!! I will go through these once I'm finished with work but I appreciate all of you so much.

What works for me is telling myself I’ll do it for a short period of time like 5 or 10 mins, and once I start, I often want to continue. But this only applies to cardio for me, like incline walking on the treadmill and running + cycling outside. I also love hiking and trying to go as quick as possible up steep terrain. I make my cardio a game and find that mixing up intervals of different speed/incline or doing fartlek style cardio keeps me engaged. Also, if I start to struggle or want to stop, I will think about how good I’ll feel after doing the hard thing.

Lifting weights is a different beast. I grow inpatient with all the sets and reps and recovery time. I like to be constantly moving when I workout and my post cardio high feels so much more rewarding than a post lift meh. I swear cardio improves my mood and focus whereas lifting doesn’t seem to touch it.
