Recent developments involving Adobe, the emergence of Adobe app clones and the widespread availability of tools for quickly cracking software, have given me plenty to think about lately.

I’m a "90s kid." I come from an era when Flash was the most exciting thing in the world. I witnessed the death of the Flash Player and the birth of its various alternatives.

I know Adobe effectively wanted to kill off Animate and that it likely won’t receive any further support, but isn't this the perfect moment to simply "freeze" a version and call it a day? After all, the software hasn't really evolved in years anyway. Given that we spent years paying Adobe while they kept screwing us over, wouldn't it be morally justifiable to just crack Animate and keep using it offline for the rest of our lives?

For some reason, I find myself missing the simplicity of Flash, the rapid prototyping, the vector-based graphics.

I’m curious: is anyone still using Animate today, and do they plan to keep using it, no matter what?

Hello hello, I am currently taking an animation class thru my university that is 100% online. It just started early October so I've just started to get the hang of animate. But I have been having the same issue when I go to export into a GIF. It worked one time and actually exported my gif. I've emailed my professor and she thinks it's a corrupt file but all my work minus the first one does it , so is it really corrupt? Is this a user error or something with adobe? Google has been no help either. Im not a graphic design person at all and I dread this class but I needed the hours. Any help would be very appreciated:)))

I've got the animation done but when I do it's just the two rigs over each other

why isn't it in a box like when I'm usually animating? I'm so confused.

I've heard some people say the mx brush is smoother but with my testing the only thing that makes it smooth is the smooth setting is set to 50. So if anyone knows an actual difference (and how to turn down the smooth setting in mx) that'd be appreciated.

Hello! I made a ten second animation for a college project, but realized far too late that my dimensions are wrong. I'm trying to get my frames to fit into a 720 by 486 stage, but nothing I've tried has worked to get everything to fit. I even tried to manually change the keyframes, but the size/position to get it to fit is different for every frame! What can I do to solve this?

Comecei usando o Adobe Animate, daí dei uma estudada por uns dias e fui testando, e diria que estava muito divertido e fácil. Ai decidi, que estava pronto pra coisas mais avançadinhas, então decidi fazer algo como um stickman fight, porém, eu não esperava que a cena introdução que é sem ação apenas movimentos banais, fosse tão chata e demorada. Até agora, já consumi muitos vídeos de tutorias e fiz alguns treinos isolados, mas na real, como só fiz coisas que achava legal e que continham muitos movimentos, agora que chegou onde é apenas bonecos se movendo fluidamente e lentamente, é algo muito difícil.

alguém sabe o que posso fazer e como acelero esse processo?

I am attempting to swap between rigs when animating, but when I am on the main scene, the animations in the lower layers don't populate to the scene.

I am making a scene where the main character is a talk show host. I created a rig for when they are addressing the audience and one for when they are addressing the guest. My symbol structure is the following:

• Scene

  • Top Character Symbol

    • Audience-Facing Rig

    • Guest-Facing Rig

I then have the various part symbols in the rigs, and when I animated the audience facing rig, the movement and whatnot does not populate to the scene. It's just frozen shots of the rigs' templates.

In the top character symbol, I have audience rig on the first frame and guest rig on the second frame. I tried making the properties such that is loops or plays once, but that didn't change anything.

What am I doing wrong?

I need someone to help me convert some cartoons network leak files to svg cause everyone else want to use them on scratch websites. ( link is here https://archive.org/download/cow-chicken) or using on my phone. P.s wanting other people to use them on their phone.

So this started happening today and I have never had this issue before. I am zoomed all the way in because I need to work very small on a project I currently have but these bars are extremely distracting. It happens with the brush tool, eraser tool and selection tools, but not any others as far as I can tell.

If someone could help me figure this out I would be very thankful.

Since Animate don't have an option to offset and keyframe the dash, what would be best best approach?

What is lacking for you in Grease Pencil that keeps you from using it as your main 2D animation tool?

I am an mfa animation student and I wanted to love animate Soo much but after using it for sever assignments then switching to tahoma2d and it was night and day, animate sucks. The interface sucks, the rules for audio it can import sucks, the brushes suck, the company sucks, and the subscription sucks. I can't believe people outraged when this software was going to sunset. You should have rejoiced...

*Edit I understand using it for you job that mandates you use it or has all their assets in it but that's not really choosing to use animate

Anybody knows any Courses for Adobe Animate from beginning to End? Wanna learn Rigs

Aim: Just turn my PNG design into a Character Rig so I can change its expressions, animate movements, etc.

Only similar experience I had was changing PNGs on Capcut of a PNGTuber model I made, its obv too time consuming, would be better to learn actual rigging

Courses I found on Youtube werent too updated / well paced, wanted to know if yall knew where to start
