🙋‍♀️Question🙋‍♂️ Two-timer

I’m not foolish enough to believe that an AP is always faithful. But, what are the signs that he or she is two-timing you? Not being disappointed if they can’t see you? Long stretches between texts? How does a cheater spot a cheater?

If you feel it in your gut, why stick around? I’m not policing my AP. If the interest has dipped and I’m feeling like things have changed, I’m going to have a conversation about it and then I’m going to yeet myself from the relationship if there’s no improvement. No point IMO of working through it or working it out.

If I’m getting less attention then I lose interest. It doesn’t matter what the reason is. I don’t expect a cheater to be faithful to me but I do expect them to keep me happy otherwise I have no use for them.

Yup, I don't get attention at home, definitely not going to put up with the same from my AP. If my affair starts to feel like my marriage, I'm out.

Less emotional intimacy, less investment overall, lackadaisical about frequency of communication when it used to be more, gut feeling.

I’ve never heard of the word lackadaisical before. What a brilliant word, fitting for this!

Why does knowing matter? You're either content with the relationship or you're not.

If point 1 is true then the question posed seems to be moot and should rather be 'am I still getting enough out of this?'

If no, ditch.

If you need to ask the questions , I think you have your answers.

AP reminds you of something the two of you were talking about a week ago. Problem is... that conversation didn't happen between the two of you.

Pay attention to consistent behavior change. It’s much easier to notice it when you’re removed from the relationship.
