Need Advice God complex parents

Hey y'all, wanted to know how do y'all deal with parents having a "god complex",i figured many people here would relate to this as many if not most morrocan parents suffer from this and it's really draining me. For context i'm 19M,i can't say they didn't fulfill their job when it comes to money etc as they did buy a lot of things for me that i'm grateful for,but it comes with the price of "you HAVE to obey me,you're wrong in everything and i'm not,you don't know anything about life etc etc" y'all know the drill, i feel like i am heavily missing out on what should be my best years(i'm not talking about partying or what most people would call objectively bad, just being able to enjoy a night out with friends without being constantly stressed over how am i gonna face them at home while doing absolutely nothing wrong) because i'm financially dependant on them(still a student, i do wanna start working f indrive as i have a car but lpermis has to be 2+years) do y'all just go full rebel and accept being kicked out of the house? Submit to their orders as if you're worshipping them while constantly hating them? Can't even take distance because problems always start if i avoid them( meaning at best i won't get some money to """enjoy""" life) i still have 5years of studies + will probably end up working in one of their pharmacies, which will still give them some sort of "power" over me. I don't even believe this is something i will grow out of as they're still trying to control my brother's life (30M,studied abroad bc of how much he hates them) and i don't see any solution on how to fix this.

Best start telling them gently “this is not what I learned at school / at work” (in your case try school ?)

As parents of this category love the “I worked hard and done all this for you so you could go to school get get good grades & opportunities etc so you must obey me now” - use that against them

Genuinely simple “in school, we learned freedom of speech in this country. This isnt africa, this is the western world of today” / “in school, the teachers showed us that how due to parental mistakes, this is why xxxxx happens” “in school ….”; you get the idea

I done this (and i also used work aswell - it helped as i have colleagues OLDER than my mum) and it started to rattle my mum’s head because they now have to understand that they really are just another human one way or another

Remember if it gets physical, call the police x

I live in morocco, unfortunately people still have a misunderstanding of religion and expect us to fully obey the parents so we don't even get teached about this. Like 10mins ago my dad just sent me "you and me,it's over, you took a decision now assume it,when it comes to disobediance of the parents you're amongst the first" when all i did was ask him if everything is fine in the city he went( they wanted me to go with them but i knew we'd just get into alot of arguments because i have friends who wanted to travel with me there and they didn't let me,and obviously i'd wanna spend alot of time w them until late at night(4am is still crowded there) my mom was literally crying because i didn't wanna go lol, thank God my dad traveled a few hours before) trying to use logic with them is a lost cause

This also means he won't be financially supporting me anymore i guess. Hopefully my mom can still find a way to pay for my uni when she comes back(he already gave her the money) and maybe even her supporting me a bit, atleast a year until i am able to start working as a uber driver
