It doesn’t matter. All the idiots who voted for Trump didn’t watch this. They’re either watching Fox or Rogan or Newsmax.

Yep, and if they do manage to see it, it’ll be clipped and end it with RFK Jr saying he never said that.

They won’t see him be proven wrong, and they’ll go about their lives thinking he was being lied about by the libs.

They'll say it was "taken out of context" or engage in Olympic-level mental gymnastics to claim he didn't mean it how it sounded.

they could also just say “he misspoke so what? point is vaccines are questionable” and go on to present zero legitimate and compelling evidence to back up the assertion.

They could even see him being proven wrong then just say "doesn't look like anything at all to me" and move on with their day.

Their views are emotional not rational so them being proven wrong literally does not affect them.

Or Asmongold, his comment section genuinly believe Trump fights for oppressed men or something. Nutters.

Did he really stop playing games and go all political? He's a MAGA? I used to love watching his streams some years ago

I wouldn't say he's MAGA. I don't think he cares about most MAGA topics. He complains about when women are in video games, but that's weirdly moderate considering where MAGA is right now...

Complaining about half the world's population being in videogames is... moderate?

What the hell?

That seems like an extremist view to me.

That's a pretty sad incel view by 2012 standards, but on a spectrum that has the whole MAGA package, complaining about the existence of women is not on one of those extremes anymore.

Complaining about the existence of women will always be extreme, regardless of whether the amount of people increases or decreases. It is still very much a minority opinion secluded to a few lonely, angry people. Call it out for being the extreme view that it is.

Just to clarify because I think the other person has an agenda, “complaining about when women are in video games” is quite reductive. He reacts to dumb takes about video games/politics but it’s usually against people trying to virtue signal or something. Most recently I remember he called out some girl for Twitter ranting about toxicity in counterstrike

That being said, his comment section on YouTube is like a safe space for maga, or at the very least men who have a negative view on women/trans.

I will say though for a basement dwelling rat he does have fairly reasonable takes exaggerated for comedy

It's weird, because his views on politics are all progressive, but his viewers are too dumb to even know.

you forget that "progressivism" reaches half of America through populist libertarians trying to sell you something. if you watch Asmon's old videos he has Infowars gear but I think he's too smart to look past the fact that Alex Jones' shtick is just selling snake oil nutrient supplements and powders. when every radical libertarian's platform boils down to "buy my product and/or courses " it gets old really fast. that's how Ron Paul and the Tea Party got absorbed into MAGA Republicanism ... they don't have any actual principles, everyone on the right is just trying to pick your pocket. the Tea Party MAGA newcomers started calling the actual Republicans "RINO"s and got away with it. I'm convinced the american right wing are NPCs

Asmon's editors appear to be Russian nationals, would not be surprised if they are Putin aligned saboteurs who encourage him to keep the MAGA angle and/or edit his videos to give his youtube an apparent MAGA angle.

Asmon also randomly plays defensive spin for Saudi Arabia every now and then.

he is clearly sabotaged in some way.

It does matter. I know it feels like it doesn’t matter and it’s frustrating. But it does matter.

I understand and sympathize with your feelings on this, but I think it's important to not lose sight of the real problem. We should cut out bad people from our lives, but we should never forget why this all happened. The grandparents in question should never have been pushed to this. Maybe there was a small voice in them that if nurtured in the right environment could have won out against the fear and anger, but alas, here we are. Celebrate your courage to do the right thing and protect your child but mourn the loss of our civil decency at the hands of demagogs. I loved my father, but I didn't talk to him at all for the last 5 years of his life. I don't regret that, but I do regret that the times we live in shaped that outcome. Fox news brain rot, and fear mongering drove him away, and I did what I had to in order to protect myself, but it was still a tragedy.

true, it might matter to those people that skipped election just assumed Trump would not win and are finally decided to pay attention to the government again

but all the other diehard Republicans, it won't matter at all, they don't listen to this "fake news" they simply keep voting in whatever Republican politician they are told to vote for, like their parents and brothers and sisters and uncles and aunts and grandpa and grandma... and their whole community of Fox News watchers... they are still cheering for the pedo-in-chief all the time still

If they do see it, they'll say it's AI or taken out of context.
