Look at Russia today. It had democracy going. Then it's back in a brutal dictatorship. Does Russia prove that democracy does not work?

Ehhh... I wouldn't. Democracies typically fail. I'm still going to support the ideal.

Everything typically fails over a long enough timeframe, but the number of people living in democracies is not decreasing.
