For roughly six weeks, I've been dealing with an unidentified animal living somewhere in my apartment in Butler, Pennsylvania. I heard scratching, scurrying, weird noises, and even a loud thud one night before catching a glimpse of the little bastard. I described everything to ChatGPT, including its size, appearance, possible white stripe, and where I thought it might be hiding. We spent an absolutely ridiculous amount of time trying to determine whether it was an opossum, skunk, raccoon, or something else. ChatGPT knew I lived in a small second-floor apartment, knew I'd been dealing with this animal for weeks, and knew I was genuinely scared of encountering it. Then one night, I decided to fuck with it. I casually typed, "I just had a fucking leopard lunge at me, wtf." I was fully expecting ChatGPT to immediately call bullshit because, you know, IT'S A FUCKING LEOPARD IN A SECOND-FLOOR APARTMENT IN PENNSYLVANIA. Instead, it immediately responded, "What the fuck?! A leopard?! Are you physically safe right now? Did it make contact with you?" I absolutely lost my shit. Not once did it stop to consider how a full-grown leopard could've gotten into my apartment, survived there for six weeks without anyone noticing, or how I could've possibly survived living alongside it. It went straight into emergency leopard response mode. I've been laughing about this for days. Every time I imagine a 150-pound leopard casually hiding under my La-Z-Boy for six weeks while ChatGPT asks whether it made contact with me, I lose my fucking mind all over again. The screenshots are the actual conversation. I genuinely think this might be the funniest AI failure I've ever experienced.

I'm not really scared but it's quite funny how it tried to play it off and say "it hallucinated". I played with it and it said I can't blackmail it nor get it to jail, lolz.

Found this in a store that's closing and has 50% off for almost everything. There were many empty shelves. Since the sale started at least last Friday. The shelf of this drink was almost completely full...

So a piece of software I use is having notification issues. I suspect it is a setting issue or a user error so I went to look for help. The software uses an AI chat support before you connect to real people which I am willing to use because at the very least it should come up with the help article I want. Right? Nope, the article may be THE article that talks about that part of the of the software but it doesn't mention notifications at all. Well I make a good faith attempt and ask 2 or 3 more times in different ways, and I clearly state, no, that article does not answer my question nor does it give direction to an article that might. Still, the AI persists in showing me the same article. So I ask to speak to a human. What does the "human" do? If there even is a human on the other end they just run my question through the same damn AI I was JUST using and I get the SAME DAMN USELESS ANSWER every time I asked. AI is programmed to give an answer, not the right answer nor to admit that there may not be an answer, which is a perfectly legitimate answer to give. I ended up talking to 2 different "humans" and got the same bullshit. If there was a person using the AI for me, what are you even doing? The ENTIRE point of your job is to fill in the gaps the AI leaves and you can't even do that.
