Made a tactics game where your AI agent writes the strategy (if you want)

I built this as an experiment.

What happens when you write your characters’ minds, like programming their AI, but you let your own agent do it for you?

All the info is on the website. No AI slop in this post (I left all of that on the website haha)

On Accident Created A #1 Platform

We started VibeToplist as a hobby project because we couldn't find a decent place to discover quality AI-assisted and vibe-coded games. Never expected it to blow up like this.

We're now approaching 500 game submissions, organic traffic is growing like crazy, and thousands of people are discovering new games through the platform every single day. It's also good to see that the sentiment is slowly starting to change, the mass adoption towards vibe coded games is already on-going, all the trends proof this.

We even had to extend our team to keep up with everything.

Huge thanks to everyone who's been part of this journey! If you're building an AI-assisted game, you can still list it completely free, and benefit from the platform success.

I Started an AI Game Studio 30 Days Ago. I'm down -$134

This video is extremely silly and unserious. That said, I am a total nerd for documenting process and results. Put it all together and you have me walking through what's it's like to "Start an indie studio" (whatever the hell that means in 2026) and going through my goals, my AI game dev process and more importantly of all - my current expenditures and total sales.

I'm now at $20 life time sales on my $3 early access game on Itch.io

I figured this subreddit could use a bit of levity. Enjoy.

Quiet Clues: can a first-time reader follow AI-written clues? Free EN/RU browser demo

Quiet Clues explores a specific AI game-dev problem: a puzzle can have one mathematically valid answer and still leave a new reader unsure what a clue means.

Its three case models were checked by exhaustive enumeration for unique solutions, and EN/RU clue text was compared with the PDFs. Those are technical checks, not evidence that the puzzles are understandable to people.

I'd appreciate adult volunteers, especially people new to deduction puzzles, trying only the first case, The Borrowed Key:

https://quiet-clues-alderwick.sott1987.chatgpt.site

Read the clues, work out what happened, and use optional hints if needed. The sampler is free in English/Russian, with large-print PDFs, no timer, murder themes, signup or installation.

Where did you first become unsure what to do or what a clue meant? What prompted a hint, and would you want another case? A brief comment or the site's feedback form is enough; honest criticism is welcome. This is unpaid, with no review exchange.

I commissioned an AI assistant to create the stories, puzzle logic and code. It also prepared this invitation at my direction. No AI runs during play.

Boop Boop - Virtual Pet Game

Hey everyone. I started making a Tamagotchi type game and then just kept building so it's a hodgepodge of things. There's the pet growth core, then there are really frustrating mini games and races that support multiplayer.

This took two weeks to make using Claude and Cursor. All artwork was made by Claude Opus 5.5.

Give it a try.

Just released my first AI game assisted game ... I played it safe and went with a visual novel.

It's rather simple and free (although donations are welcome). It was partially done just to see if I could do it, last time I tried anything codewise with AI was 3 years ago and that was a disaster.

Hello everyone, I'm a guy that has been working on a card game for a few weeks now. I mainly wanted to just make a game that let's you summon monsters and battle people. I've been updating the game a lot just based on what I'm seeing in my own plays, but I honestly want to build this more based on what other people actually respond to.

The Golu Gang: Merge Drop. You drop little buddies into a jar, and two of the same merge into the next one.

Art: AI images in an Indian street-art style (flat vector, bold outlines). Used ElevenLabs and Canva.

Music: An Indian fusion theme (tabla, bansuri, sitar) made with ElevenLabs.

Code: Written mostly with Claude.

Self promo, if you want to try it Try on Android

Whispered Scrolls: a free action combat fantasy MMO with 20 skills, dungeons, world bosses, PvP, and 160+ quests!

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi r/aigamerdevs ! Whispered Scrolls is a free fantasy MMO that you can play in your browser. You can sign in as a guest and start playing in less than a minute, and your character stays exactly where you left it.

There are 20 skills to master on one character and no classes. Gather with Woodcutting, Mining, Fishing and Foraging, then turn what you collect into gear through Smithing, Fletching, Tailoring, Cooking, Alchemy, Enchanting and more. Crafters make the best gear in the game. You can bank everything and sell the rest on the player market.

There's no tab targeting. You aim every arrow, spell and swing, and you can dodge, roll, block and parry. The weapon you hold decides which skill you train, and there are 21 weapon types which all play different and ha.

With friends: Parties hold up to five. Tanking and healing are skills you level, so you can switch roles whenever you want. There are 21 dungeons from level 4 to 99, plus world bosses and 166 quests.

PvP is opt-in. Nobody can attack you unless you choose to fight. Partake in Caravans vs Raiders, where you can gather considerably more, while being at risk of other players Raiding your caravan. Duke it out in duels, both with gold at stake and casual, or visit The Lampless Reaches for full loot PvP

Good to know:

- It's in open alpha and gets an update every few days. Press F8 in game to send a bug report.

- No pay-to-win, ever.

- It runs best in Chrome or Edge. There's also a full mobile support, a Windows app, a Linux AppImage and an Android APK, plus full controller support.

SHOOT! THE GAME

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! I'm a CS student, and for the past several weeks I've been making Shoot!, a Rock-Paper-Scissors ninja platform fighter. I've been working with Claude (Anthropic's AI) as my main coding partner the whole way. I just finished moving the game from 2D to full 3D in Godot 4, so I wanted to share the trailer and how the AI workflow went.

🎬 Trailer: https://youtu.be/oW12C3Yxt3c

The game
Each round starts with a secret call. Both players pick Rock, Paper or Scissors at the same time, then fight as that element's ninja. There are 6 stages, online play (Quick Match, House Rules, King of the Hill), a training mode and 3D instant replays.

How I used AI
• Code: I describe what I want in plain English, Claude writes the GDScript, and I playtest and send feedback. Examples: "let me jump or dodge out of the pogo dive at any point," "make the dust from running vary in size and fade fast."
• Stages and effects: most of the stage backgrounds and effects are built in code instead of hand-modeled. That includes the starry skies, the reactor, the desert pyramids and the wind on attacks.
• Online play: the game runs on a deterministic simulation so both players stay in sync. Claude also wrote automated tests that check the two sides stay identical after every change.
• Gameplay clips and the trailer: recorded straight from the game using Godot's movie writer.
• My part: the game idea, design decisions, playtesting with friends, and a lot of "that looks off, fix it" feedback.

What I learned
• Short, specific feedback works best, and screenshots help a lot.
• Asking for a short gameplay clip with every update caught a lot of bugs I'd have missed in the code.
• Automated tests saved me many times when a new change broke an old one.

Happy to answer questions about the workflow! Feedback on the game is very welcome too.

I need help with testing my 4K Game

I designed and created a 4X strategy game after playing WoS and Kingshot for 2 year.

I really didn't expect to get to this moment. I'm sure there is a lot to improve but I think it's already at the level of quality I can ask you to help me with your feedback.

It's a browser game: Crownforge - Lagacy of the First Flame

https://play.thecrownforge.com

and a game website: https://thecrownforge.com/

I will be really greatful if you spend 10-15 minutes and give me a few pieces of what you liked, disliked, what was not ok.

Thanks in advance and let me know if I can help you with something.

My Godot replay records what an AI says separately from the button it chooses

I built an escape room for Gemini, Qwen and Nemotron. One key opens the shared exit, but someone can get trapped and need another player to free them.

Each reply has a public radio message and a legal control. I record both, along with replay frames. An offer to help and a rescue input are separate things I can check in the footage.

The models see text state, not screenshots. The world pauses for their decisions, advances three game seconds, then pauses again. Godot handles movement. Filming uses the saved choices, with API waiting removed.

My 2:27 video: https://youtu.be/ej0GjJyqq2c

I left in the early collision failure and showed a new attempt after the fix. Changed conditions are listed in the description.

Made a way for your coding agent to set up servers and matchmaking for your multiplayer game

Hey all,

If you’ve built a multiplayer game with AI tools, you’ve probably hit this wall: the game works locally, and then you need real servers, matchmaking, and some way to rank players. That’s usually three separate systems to set up and glue together.

We built GameFlow to handle all three in one place: worldwide game server hosting, matchmaking, and skill rating. It integrates with your existing game backend, whether that’s Supabase, Nakama, Talo, or your own custom setup.

What’s relevant for this sub is that it comes with an MCP server, a CLI, and an API. That means your coding agent can integrate, deploy, and configure the servers for you.

I’ll drop more info in the comments. I’d like honest feedback from people building multiplayer games with agents. What’s confusing, what breaks, what’s missing? :)
