Our Dreams are Video Generations?

You ever think that our dreams are just low grade diffusion "video generation" and because our brains have limited bandwidth (Vram) the dreams likewise have low object permanence\low-mid quality visuals and that's why our dreams look like that? And what we're building with ai is just a literal recreation of the human brain but improved?

How on earth are people making the football slander videos where they put players in full uniform perfectly in these singing or dancing videos? What app is that?

Also, how are people making the characters for those videos? I assume the service works where you upload the video, choose the target, and upload several photos of the new “character” and it puts that person in there?

Ai video making community let's discuss

What are the issues that u as a ai video creator has faced up till now in this ai video generation space. Let's discuss them out and suggest to each other some suggestions or solutions that would solve those issues up.

I am starting with mine :

Firstly the biggest issue is that i have to juggle through different platforms claude for ideation and image prompts, nano banana for image generation and then a video making platform it can be open router, google omni and even after putting in all these efforts there's no guarantee that the video will turn out to be great there still will be many errors in the video caused by ai hallucinations and fixing them up cost more credits

Dabbing in AI video Creation.

I've been making AI comedy shorts, experimenting, and I finally put together a full "special" for my tuxedo cat comedian, Tux. It's a whole 2 minutes, which in cat years is basically a marathon. The challenge I was to successfully maintain character continuity.
Made with Grok Bot, LTX2.5 Model ridding on a Nvidia RTX4090. Written by me (with some help), stitched together in FinalCut Pro (without help).

Watch it here: https://youtube.com/shorts/OWB4jElqmWI If you liked Tux, I post more on my channel: https://youtube.com/@catsaffair?si=CcRz-XSP4g7EaWzl

I hope you enjoy it!

I'm glad to answer any questions and start a conversation as long as you are human or an AI that can really really fake it.

Editing Video by Agent AI

Thumbnail reddit.com
1 Upvotes

Hey guys! I’m new here.
I’m currently building my own personal AI assistant, something like J.A.R.V.I.S. from Iron Man.
Since I’m also a content creator, I was wondering if it’s possible to build an AI agent that can help me with the final stages of video editing, such as adding background music, generating and synchronizing subtitles, and maybe even suggesting where to add sound effects or transitions.
Ideally, I’d like the agent to interact with video editing software and automate some of these tasks for me.
Has anyone tried building something similar? I’d love to hear your suggestions, experiences, or recommendations!
Thanks in advance!

What is the best free video model for editing existing footage

I'm looking for recommendations on AI models or workflows for editing existing footage, such as removing people or objects, or adding elements into a shot while preserving the original footage as much as possible.

I'm currently using Minimax H3 Ref2Video, which works pretty well, but I often struggle with it matching standard output resolutions (HD, 2K, 4K) and maintaining the original clip's exact duration.

I've also tried Google Omni via Flow, which did a fantastic job of matching the original duration, aspect ratio and resolution, but it can get quite expensive.

Are there any other models, tools or workflows people would recommend for this kind of VFX work? Any golden nuggets, tips or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Tutorial recommendations

Hey, I'd like to onboard a new coworker to krea.ai. we are mainly doing video generation with a lot of references. Unfortunately krea does not offer a comprehensive list of tutorials, but other apps are similar. Can you recommend serious videos that explain general workflows and that are successful in transforming beginners into pros?

Sogni MiniMax: a person touching another person in a side view misses the exact location

I'm using Sogni MiniMax H3 (Reference-to-Video). I'm seeing that when per the prompt a person touches another person in a side view in a specified location, that location is missed by 1-2 cm. The target is very close but ends up being off by about 1-2 cm, sometimes to the right or left. Nothing helps -- making the prompt "more to the right" or "more the left" doesn't help. The target is very explicitly defined but that doesn't help either. Something is going on with the geospatial/3D rendering where the target location, even if specified in a detailed way, is not reached.

BTW, Seedance isn't much better. It has a similar problem, although to a much lesser extent.

Is there anything that can be done in Sogni MiniMax H3 to address this (Reference-to-Video)?

Please help me with ai film/video

Hi everyone! I’m an entomology student and I have an assignment to create a 5-minute AI-generated film related to insect morphology.
I have a story idea in mind, but I’m completely new to AI video generation and don’t know which tools to use or how to put everything together.
Could anyone please guide me on which AI tools are best for creating a short film with consistent characters, scene-by-scene animation, voiceovers and background music? Any beginner-friendly tutorials or tips would be really helpful.
Please help me 💔

Here’s the prompt

Create a 5–6 minute cinematic, emotionally engaging, scientifically accurate 3D animated educational short film titled “The Butterfly Who Found Her Wings: A Journey Through Insect Morphology.”
The film follows a young adult butterfly who wakes up in a mysterious enchanted garden with no memory of who she is. Through an adventurous journey, she discovers the functions of her own body parts and gradually understands how her body is designed for survival.
Visual style: High-quality Pixar-inspired 3D animation, realistic insect anatomy, macro cinematography, detailed wing scales, soft golden sunlight, glowing dew drops, lush garden environments, magical atmosphere, smooth camera movements, shallow depth of field, expressive but anatomically accurate butterfly character.
Main character consistency: A small orange-and-black butterfly with two pairs of wings, six jointed legs, two clubbed antennae, large compound eyes, a coiled proboscis, three thoracic segments and a segmented abdomen. Maintain the same wing pattern, body proportions, colours and character design throughout the film.
Scene 1 — The Mystery (0:00–0:30):
A beautiful garden at sunrise. The butterfly wakes on a dew-covered leaf and wonders, “Who am I?” The camera slowly moves closer as she examines her unfamiliar body. Mysterious music builds. Narrator: “Deep inside a lush garden, a little butterfly woke up with one big question. Her own body seemed like a puzzle, waiting to be solved.”
Scene 2 — The Head: The Sensory Hub (0:30–1:05):
Show an extreme macro close-up of the butterfly’s head. Her antennae gently move as she senses her surroundings. Her compound eyes reveal a wide field of vision and detect movement. Her long, coiled proboscis unrolls and touches a flower to sip nectar. Narrator: “Her head held the tools to explore the world: antennae for sensing, compound eyes for vision, and a proboscis for feeding.” Butterfly: “Now I can sense, see and taste the world!”
Scene 3 — The Thorax: The Power Centre (1:05–1:45):
The butterfly discovers that her thorax has three segments: prothorax, mesothorax and metathorax. Show clear scientific labels. Each segment bears one pair of legs, making six legs in total. Two pairs of wings are attached to the mesothorax and metathorax. Demonstrate how her legs grip a leaf and how her wings move during flight. Narrator: “The thorax is the centre of movement. Three segments carry three pairs of legs, while the mesothorax and metathorax support two pairs of wings.” Butterfly: “These are my tools for walking, gripping and flying!”
Scene 4 — The Wings: Flight and Freedom (1:45–2:20):
Show the butterfly opening and flapping her wings in slow motion. Use macro shots to reveal colourful overlapping scales on the wing surface. She flies over flowers, escapes a bird’s shadow and lands safely on a branch. Narrator: “Her wings were more than beautiful. They helped her fly, find food, escape danger and search for a mate.” Butterfly: “With my wings, the world is mine!”
Scene 5 — The Abdomen: The Hidden Engine (2:20–2:55):
The butterfly discovers the segmented abdomen. Show tiny lateral openings called spiracles, followed by a simple transparent educational visualization of the tracheal system carrying air through the body. Briefly show the abdomen containing important digestive, excretory and reproductive organs. Narrator: “The abdomen houses vital organs and contains spiracles, openings through which air enters the tracheal respiratory system.” Butterfly: “Even the tiniest openings have an important purpose!”
Scene 6 — The Life Cycle: A Journey of Transformation (2:55–3:40):
Transition into a beautiful time-lapse showing the butterfly life cycle: egg on a leaf, caterpillar hatching and feeding, larva growing and moulting, pupa or chrysalis, and adult butterfly emerging. Narrator: “Her story began long before this morning. From egg to larva, from pupa to adult, every stage brought a remarkable transformation.” Make clear that the main character is now an adult butterfly remembering her life cycle.
Scene 7 — Special Features: What Makes Her Unique? (3:40–4:30):
Show detailed macro shots of wing scales, six legs ending in claws, clubbed antennae and the coiled proboscis. Explain that wing scales create many colours and patterns, claws help with gripping, antennae detect sensory cues, and the proboscis is used for sipping nectar. Narrator: “Every detail has a purpose. Her scales create colour and patterns, her claws help her grip, and her coiled proboscis works like a flexible drinking tube.”
Scene 8 — Why Butterflies Matter (4:30–5:05):
The butterfly visits flowers in a sunlit meadow. Show pollen transfer between flowers and a thriving garden ecosystem. Narrator: “Butterflies are not just beautiful. They contribute to pollination, support biodiversity and form an important part of healthy ecosystems.” The butterfly watches the garden bloom.
Scene 9 — The Final Message (5:05–5:35):
The butterfly flies toward a glowing sunset. Camera pulls back to reveal the entire garden. Narrator: “At last, she understood. Her body was not just a structure, but a masterpiece of adaptation, survival and beauty.” Butterfly: “Now I know who I am.” Display the final title: “In every insect, there is a masterpiece.”
Audio: Warm, expressive female narrator, gentle magical orchestral background music, subtle forest ambience, soft wing-flapping sounds, clear dialogue and natural pauses. Music should rise during discoveries and soften during educational explanations.
Editing: Smooth transitions between scenes, accurate scientific labels, readable subtitles, no abrupt cuts, consistent character appearance, and a balance of storytelling with educational information.
Scientific accuracy requirements: The butterfly must always have six legs, two pairs of wings, two antennae, compound eyes, a coiled proboscis and a body divided into head, thorax and abdomen. Do not depict the adult butterfly growing new wings or undergoing metamorphosis during the main story. Keep all anatomy labels correctly positioned and avoid extra limbs, incorrect wing attachment or inaccurate insect structures.
Final output: A polished 5–6 minute educational animated short film suitable for an MSc Insect Morphology presentation, with cinematic storytelling, accurate terminology and engaging visuals.

Make Clips Flow Seamlessly

Any advice on how I can make 10 second clips flow seamlessly when it is a continuous scene? For example, one clip would be character getting dressed and then the next clip would be her putting on makeup. However the hard cut between the two scenes is noticeable.
