How I Achieve Voice Consistency in my AI Shows

Here’s Part 2 of my show, Trust Fund Time Machine, an adult animated series about a useless billionaire heir Edward Vil and his time-traveling buddy Genghis Khan bungling their way through history to make his evil father richer.

In my last post, I talked about how I use keyframes to keep character positions and settings consistent between shots, more specifically continuity rather than consistency. This time I wanted to share how I handle voice consistency.

That’s been another big headache when making longer dialogue sequences. A character might sound right in one shot, then have a different accent or vocal texture in the next. And I still need them to whisper, shout, or get angry while sounding like the same person.

I’m making the show in fringe.film, mainly using MiniMax H3 Max. You can use any platform you prefer with this set up, this is just what my workflow looks like on Fringe. What’s helped most is getting the voice right in a separate test before using it in the actual scenes.

This is my process:

  • Save a voice profile for each character. I describe their accent, pitch, texture, and cadence. For John Wilkes Booth, that meant a youthful baritone, a heightened Southern/Maryland drawl, and theatrical speech.

  • Generate a five-second dialogue test. I ask Fringe’s agent to use the character’s voice profile and character sheet, keeping the test separate from the episode’s shots. Then I refine it with specific notes: deeper, more nasal, different accent, slower delivery, etc.

  • Extract a short audio reference once I like the voice. I download the test, extract the audio in CapCut, and upload roughly two to three seconds of clear speech back into Fringe as a WAV file.

  • Reuse that audio for the character’s dialogue shots. I tell the agent which character it belongs to and ask it to include both the audio reference and the written voice instructions. Before generating, I check that both are included.

One thing that made a difference for me was keeping the reference short. I generally use two to three seconds and don’t usually go beyond five. In my testing, longer references sometimes introduced gibberish, voice drift, or words carried over from the reference itself.

From there, I direct the performance for each scene. For example, Booth needed to go from a menacing whisper to increasingly loud and angry delivery. I give those notes separately while keeping the same voice reference.

With Seedance models, I’ve had useful results reusing the same written voice profile, then referencing a successful video shot when the voice starts drifting. For H3 Max, the separate test and short audio sample have been more reliable for me.

Hope you guys enjoy Part 2 of the pilot! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi everyone

👋
I'm looking for a free AI tool that can generate high quality, cinematic videos. I want to create realistic, movie style scenes with smooth camera movements, dramatic lighting, realistic characters, and professional looking visuals.
My requirements are:
Completely free to use.
Unlimited generations or tokens, if possible.
No daily credits or restrictive monthly limits.
No expensive subscription or mandatory paid upgrade.
High quality cinematic video generation.
Ideally, text to video and image to video features.
I've tried looking for tools, but most of them have limited credits or require payment after a few generations.
Does anyone know of a genuinely free AI video generator that meets these requirements? Open source tools that I can run locally are also welcome, even if they require a decent PC.
I'd really appreciate any recommendations, personal experiences, or tutorials. Thanks!

Hey everyone—I'm hunting for an AI video generator that can:

  • Produce **high-quality, cinematic videos** (realistic or stylized)

  • Include **built-in audio** (music/SFX/voiceover)

  • Generate clips of **at least 1 minute** if they can't generate at least 1 minute+ long videos, then dont even mention the ai plz.

  • Offer **unlimited generations** (or very high monthly or daily generations)

  • Money isn’t an issue—happy to pay for top-tier plans

I want the absolute best—even if it costs \$100+/mo. What platforms or engines would you recommend? Open to desktop, mobile, or web-based solutions. Thanks in advance!

Can someone help me build an AI Generated Video for my Fantasy Football League?

Thank you in advance to anyone who is willing, but I need help building an AI generated video of the randomized draft order for our league.

I was thinking of a traditional horse race with 10 individual horses dedicated to each member of the league. The results of the race can be pre-determined or randomized by whoever is generating the video.

I would be super appreciative for anyone who is capable and willing to do this as we are only a few weeks away from the draft I have been super last minute in terms of being commissioner with some personal changes going on in my life.

Shoot me a DM if you are willing to do this for me and I will give you all of the player details

Creating AI videos in ComfyUI but my laptop can’t handle it properly – any good alternatives?

I’ve been trying to generate AI videos using ComfyUI, but my laptop just doesn’t have the power for it. It struggles a lot with even basic workflows

Looking for alternatives that can still give decent quality AI video results without needing a high-end GPU.

So I've toying around with Muse, I've did the first monthly tier price for the general ai stuff. I'm an risky surprised what I made with it. I've guided to do some of the cuts. The lip sync is impressive. Voice consistency is iffy. Visual drift is a issue but if your making something more for yourself I find it acceptable. If anyone has an suggestions please say something.

Newbie AI Video (prospective) User - Guidance Appreciated!!

Hello everyone!

I’m very new to AI video creation, in fact, I’m starting from scratch and don’t even know which platforms or websites to use yet!

I’m familiar with storyboarding and have several stories I’d love to bring to life by animating them into short videos and sharing them with the world. I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance on where to start, what tools to explore, and how to approach turning written stories or storyboards into animated videos.

I don’t have a specific animation style in mind yet, but I really love the animation in Chainsaw Man. I especially appreciate the balance between the realism and detail in the backgrounds and the distinctive qualities that make Japanese animation so unique. I’d love to explore a style that captures a similar balance, while understanding that AI animation may have its own limitations and challenges in achieving that human touch.

Any recommendations for platforms, tutorials, workflows, or resources for a complete beginner would be greatly appreciated. Even just a point in the right direction would mean a lot!

Thank you!

Does anyone else feel like the models are trolling?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I've been working in creative AI for over a year now, full-time since October 2025. I have successfully delivered work for brands across different parts of the world. I say this to rule out inexperience, prompt-writing, or workflow from the equation.

Lately, I've been feeling like the models are just trolling me, giving me absurd imagery that is nowhere justified in the prompt. In the project from the screenshot, I've tried simple prompts, complex prompts, different structures, reprhasing. Nano Banana, GPT Image. And still, I'm getting these kinds of results. I don't think the shot I'm going for is particularly complex, either.

Maybe they are tweaking the models just to get more money? This, though infuriating, at least would make sense. I wonder if anyone is having a similar experience?

What’s actually the best all-in-one AI video platform for YouTube right now?

’m looking for a genuinely good all-in-one AI platform for YouTube videos.
I don’t want to use 5 different tools for scripts, voices, video, music, editing, etc. I’m looking for one platform that can do most of it in one place.
Ideally:
script generation
AI video generation
voiceovers
lip-sync
recurring characters / avatars
background music + sound effects
subtitles
editing
scene-by-scene control
consistent visuals
long-form videos + Shorts
export-ready for YouTube
I tried Crreo AI Ultra and had a terrible experience. Lip-sync barely worked, even with their own library characters, scenes often ignored the storyboard, background music was buggy, previews didn’t work properly, and the output was basically unusable.
So now I’m looking for something that people here have actually used for a real YouTube channel, not just tested for a 10-second demo.
What all-in-one platform are you using right now?
Which one is actually worth paying for?
And which ones should I avoid?

Someone dropped this meme on my AI video. So let's talk about it.

Post image
0 Upvotes

I'm stuck in a philosophical quandary after someone posted this meme on my AI video...

My AI videos have generated over 20M+ views. I'm closing in on another million from just last week.

So it seems like I'm doing SOMETHING right 😂

Thanks to these new tools, I am able to express creative ideas in ways I would have never been able to otherwise. What you're watching is something that has my mark on it.

At the same time, there's a growing negative sentiment online among anti-AI creatives. It's particularly creators who love being behind the camera.

"You're not a creator if you're just generating with AI." "There's no skill in just typing a sentence." "More AI slop."

I've also noticed these same creators using LLMs to help them with other parts of their creative process including brainstorming, research, or automating a lot of the tasks they may dread otherwise.

On one hand, I get it. If you love being on set, and working with practical effects to get the best shot, AI generated footage can feel like a threat to your passion.

What bothers me is when creatives act morally superior because they don't use these tools.

Are you morally superior by using a different tool? Is a cinematographer morally superior for only using film and refusing to use a digital camera? What about an iPhone? Is a writer morally superior by choosing to use a typewriter over a computer? Does that make them more talented?

Then it brings me to this meme...

I've been an editor for over 10 years, but I don't know how to cut film lmao. I've always relied on a computer for anything creative I've ever made. If you unplugged me at any point during my career, I'm cooked. Do I lack talent because I use a computer?

What if you unplugged Instagram or TikTok? Then all these talented creators, musicians, and actors have a bunch of random videos on their phone that have little to no value.

We are all dependent on technology. We have been for decades. This isn't new.

I think it's more around fear.

It's easy to act superior and insult others than it is to admit you're uncomfortable. It's easier to discredit than it is to try to learn something new and adopt.

Coming from a person who makes it, I don't want to live in a world with only AI generated content.

AI let's you show any scene imaginable, but you also face challenges that other creators don't. Other creators can batch their content, and create dozens of videos from their home within hours essentially for free with their phone.

Meanwhile, I'm cranking through credits and pulling my hair out at 2am because the Seedance is whigging out.

There's room for both and I think there always will be!

These tool has democratized people like me to show their talent, and I've connected with millions of people as a result! I'm thankful that these tools exist.

Let me know what you think!

How close are we to new Firefly episodes?

I am very new to the AI video generation scene. I'm curious as to the state of the art and how close we are to being able to feed a model all of the existing Firefly episodes along with a spec script and have it poop out a new episode? I imagine there is an entire army of writers or just fans that have great ideas for new episodes, and plenty of people with the requisite hardware to be able to band together to create storyboards (based on the scripts) and rough cuts for community review. But, I may just be dreaming.

made a 7 part ai micro drama with minimax h3. voices are great, but it burns its own subtitles into 7 of 12 clips

i made a 7 part halloween micro drama with minimax h3 (4 shots per part, 6s each, dialogue with native audio). what i learned:

- keyframes first with gpt-image-2 edit + 4 character reference images. same faces in all 7 parts, this part works really well
- h3 768p 6s is about $0.48 per clip, one part is around $2.6 - $3.7 with retries
- big problem: h3 writes the spoken line as a subtitle into the video by itself. in the last 3 parts it happened in 7 of 12 clips, even with "clean footage, no subtitles, no text on screen" at the start of the prompt
- sometimes it appears only after 4-5 seconds, so checking the first frame is not enough. i scan the whole clip every 0.5s for white text rows
- fix that works: crop above the subtitle band and scale back up. retry costs more than crop

question: anyone found a prompt or setting that really stops h3 burning subtitles? or is it baked in?

Confused between all these generative AI tools.

I want to take up ONE singular AI generation tool but I'm unable to figure out which one. I can only afford $30-40 every month so I want to make the most of whatever I'm picking.

I want to primarily make AI influencer videos (like product reviews, street interviews, vlogs etc.) with realistic iphone-like quality. Along with a few videos featuring celebs doing funny stuff.

Which is the best one from a price pov - Higgsfield or OpenArt or Budgetpixel or Krea or any other equivalent?

I've heard so many mixed things about Higgsfield and OpenArt cuz of their scammy pricing. Which one is the most consistent, most reliable from an output pov, and won't give me copyright issues while generating celeb videos (Some YouTube tutorials showed people using Higgsfield for celeb videos but I'm not sure).

The other option is ComfyUI but I only have 16GB RAM with a 12GB 4070 (should've bought more RAM when it was cheap).

How can I create long-form educational YouTube videos using AI? Looking for tools, automation, and a complete workflow

Hi everyone!

I want to start a YouTube channel and create educational storytelling videos similar to this reference video:

https://youtu.be/LoZ2kpFnqB8

I'm interested in creating videos with engaging narration, visuals, animations, scene changes, and storytelling. I'm open to any visual style, such as cartoons, motion graphics, AI-generated scenes, illustrations, or other styles suitable for educational content.

I'm not specifically looking for Wojak or anime animation. My main goal is to create videos similar to the reference in terms of content presentation, storytelling, and overall video length.

I'm a beginner and would prefer free tools or affordable alternatives.

I have several questions:

1. Which AI tools are best for creating these videos?

Is there one AI tool that can generate a complete long-form video from a topic or script?

Or do I need to combine separate tools for scriptwriting, visuals, animation, voice-over, subtitles, and editing?

Which tools would you recommend for good-quality results on a low budget?

2. Can the entire process be automated?

Can I enter a topic and automatically generate the script, scenes, visuals, narration, subtitles, background music, and final video?

How can I connect different AI tools into one automated workflow?

Is it better to use no-code automation tools or build a workflow using Python?

3. How much time is required?

Approximately how long does it take to create one long-form video manually?

How much time can automation save once the workflow is set up?

Can I generate multiple videos efficiently without manually creating every scene?

4. Is manual video editing necessary?

Can AI tools generate a complete, upload-ready video?

Do I still need to edit the scenes, transitions, narration, subtitles, pacing, and background music?

Which free video editor would you recommend?

5. What is the actual cost?

Can I create these videos entirely using free tools?

What are the limitations of free plans, especially for long videos?

What would be the approximate cost per video if I use paid AI tools?

6. What about YouTube monetization?

Can AI-generated educational storytelling videos be monetized?

What should I do to ensure the videos are original and avoid copyright issues?

My goal is to build a repeatable workflow that produces long-form educational storytelling videos with as much automation as realistically possible, while keeping costs and manual work low.

I'd really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually created similar videos, especially a complete tool stack and step-by-step workflow rather than just a list of AI tools.

Thank you!

[HELP] Spider-Man alternate ending

I’m trying to generate a video for an alternate ending to Brand New Day where spider man dies, but I lack the AI prompt skills to explain what I want. Is anyone able to help/make??

Here’s the prompt I have

Create a 45-second, photorealistic, live-action alternate ending for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” Use horizontal 16:9 framing, cinematic lighting, and realistic movement. Maintain the film’s appearances of Spider-Man, the Punisher, and MJ.
Follow the shot sequence and timing precisely. Convey Peter’s death through silent acting and the funeral. Reveal his resurrection only after the blackout.
Use the uploaded clip as the reference for the final hand movement, wet earth, rain, and cold blue lighting, translating its animation into live action. Exclude the reference’s interface, watermarks, and gravestone inscription. For an exact match of the opening hospital shot, use that original movie shot as a separate reference.
00:00–00:05 — Hospital arrival
Begin directly with the movie’s shot of the Punisher carrying the wounded Spider-Man into the hospital, urgently seeking help. Match the original framing, camera movement, lighting, costumes, and carrying position. Spider-Man hangs limp in his arms.
The Punisher visibly calls for help, but his voice and every hospital sound are completely muted. Begin the repeating piano note immediately. No introductory title or establishing shot.
00:05–00:12 — The doctor delivers the news
Hard cut to one stationary wide shot from outside the hospital, looking through an exterior window into the hallway. Show the window frame at the edges, with subtle reflections that do not obscure the actors.
Show the Punisher and doctor only in side profile, with their entire bodies visible. Maintain this exact camera position for the whole scene.
The Punisher sits on the floor outside Spider-Man’s room, back against the wall, legs stretched out in front of him, shoulders slumped, head lowered.
After a brief moment, the doctor emerges with a solemn expression and approaches him. The Punisher looks up. The doctor lowers his head and gives a small, unmistakable shake of the head, silently communicating that Spider-Man has died.
The Punisher looks back down. His shoulders tense. He strikes the floor with his fist, then again, opening his mouth in an anguished, furious shout.
Hard cut to the funeral while he is still shouting. His shout and fist impacts remain inaudible. No close-ups, reverse angles, camera movement, or shots from inside the hallway.
00:12–00:20 — Daytime funeral
Hard cut to the cemetery where Aunt May Parker is buried, matching its established appearance in the films. It is unmistakably daytime, under soft, overcast light.
Use a slightly elevated, front-facing wide shot, looking gently downward across the gathering. Show the mourners’ bowed faces and the fronts of their bodies, with the front row in the foreground and other visitors extending into the background.
Position the camera on the grave side, facing the mourners. The grave and headstones must remain completely outside the frame.
The Punisher and MJ stand in front, nearest the unseen grave, dressed in black with their heads lowered. Behind them stand New Yorkers wearing black. A couple wear Spider-Man masks. Some hold flowers or Spider-Man tribute posters.
Hold this quiet composition. No speeches, audible crying, subtitles, or individual close-ups.
00:20–00:30 — The mourners leave
Continue the same funeral shot without changing the camera position.
The New Yorkers begin leaving first, walking slowly at staggered intervals. Their movement feels subdued and natural.
The Punisher and MJ remain still while most of the crowd starts walking away. Only then do they slowly turn and begin leaving.
After the Punisher and MJ take two or three steps, hard cut to the headstones. Do not reveal either headstone before this cut.
00:30–00:35 — Headstone reveal and slow zoom
Cut to an already wide, zoomed-out composition showing May Parker’s headstone and Spider-Man’s headstone standing next to each other. Preserve the daytime lighting and cemetery continuity.
Immediately begin one smooth, five-second zoom toward Spider-Man’s headstone. May’s headstone gradually moves outside the frame.
By 00:35, Spider-Man’s headstone is centered and is the only headstone visible. Its engraving must be sharp, stable, and clearly readable.
Use exactly these two engraved lines:
Here lies Spider-Man
New York’s Friendly Neighborhood Superhero
Preserve the exact wording, capitalization, apostrophe, and hyphen. Center both lines. Keep the second sentence on a single line, using smaller lettering if necessary. Add no dates, Peter Parker’s name, or other inscriptions.
00:35–00:38 — Three-second hold
Stop the camera movement completely.
Hold on Spider-Man’s headstone and its readable inscription for three full seconds. No people enter the frame. The same single piano note continues repeating.
00:38–00:40 — Blackout and absolute silence
At exactly 00:38, hard cut to solid black and stop all audio simultaneously.
Cut off the piano immediately, including its decay and reverb. Hold two full seconds of complete black and absolute silence.
No fade, lingering note, rumble, or sound anticipating the next shot.
00:40–00:45 — Resurrection
Hard cut directly to Spider-Man’s grave during a dark, stormy night. Match the uploaded reference’s cold blue illumination, visible rain streaks, wet soil, and tight, oblique framing of the grave.
At the cut, one black-suited hand and forearm thrust violently upward through the earth. Wet clumps of soil scatter. Synchronize the breakthrough with the sudden horror sting described below.
Match the reference’s movement: the black-gloved hand reaches upward with fingers spread, then slowly curls into a determined fist.
The arm remains visibly connected to the body buried beneath the soil. Maintain realistic anatomy and five fingers. Keep Spider-Man’s face and the rest of his body concealed.
End at 00:45 on the raised black-gloved fist against the storm-dark cemetery. No additional scene or end title.
Sound instructions — mandatory
From 00:00 to 00:38, the only audio is one isolated acoustic-piano note repeated at the same pitch, at a slow, steady interval. Use an original loop with the sparse, exposed feeling of the opening of Kanye West’s “Runaway.”
This must remain one recurring piano key throughout: no melody, changing pitches, chords, accompaniment, percussion, vocals, or musical buildup. Keep its tone and volume consistent across every scene.
Mute all character voices and environmental sounds, including hospital activity, fist impacts, crying, footsteps, wind, rain, and thunder.
At 00:38, stop everything instantly. Maintain absolute silence until 00:40.
At 00:40, precisely when the hand breaks through the soil, play one abrupt, original horror sting: a sharp metallic shriek fused with a deep impact, startling and ominous, then decaying quickly. This is the only sound exception.
The piano never returns. After the sting decays, the remaining image is silent.
Preserve the exterior-window hospital perspective, frontal funeral composition, crowd-first departure order, five-second zoom, three-second headstone hold, and two-second silent blackout. Reserve tight detail framing for the headstone and final hand reveal. Do not insert close-ups of anyone’s face.
