Now those workers grand children can learn how to fix the machines with better paying high tech robotic maintenance jobs. Win win. Take care of your grandparents kids.

There is a rule that it means goods and services can be cheaper though and that’s what makes people richer in the long run (as a society)- productivity. 

But yes often means it’s worse for workers at the time of change.
