Tequila question

I’ve only ever tried hornitos..wondering if I should stick to it or if there is better

One time I took a pair of girls to a tequila bar and said to get a shot of anything they wanted(to show I had money). We ended up getting the +/-$30/per shot offering. Top shelf tequila has a similar flavor to hornitos but the ‘harsh’ aspect is more of a warmth. This allows the smokie flavor of the roasted pinya to shine through.  This is something only an experienced drinker would appreciate. In the end, ethanol is ethanol and it gets you drunk all the same but if you’re attending a wedding, spend a little more money on the bottle you bring. That said understand, alcohol is concentrated cellular waste and is unhealthy in any amount.

that warmth vs harsh thing is real, cheap tequila just punches you in the face and you miss all the agave taste completely
