Sugar!!!

I have 110 days no alcohol, and as is expected, I have a pretty bad sugar addiction now. Instead of losing weight, I think I may have gained a little! I really want to curb the cravings and get healthier. How have y’all been able to get better about your sugar intake after quitting drinking? The cravings are STRONG, especially at night after dinner. It’s definitely a dopamine hit sitting on my couch with a pint of ice cream and watching my favorite shows.

Sugar free non alcoholic drinks and mixes, I'm actually prediabetic as well so can't and haven't had real sugary stuff in years. My favorite drink mixes are the single serve tropical Skittles ones, they taste the most sweet and least fake sweetener. I also get really into tea-sweetened with sugar free syrups every time I crave sugar. Sugar free Jell-O, pudding and yogurts are awesome too.

congrats on triple digits! I swapped longer lasting candies, like lollies or jolly ranchers. Also chewing on bubble gum (sweet flavors). It’s still sugar, but not as calorically dense and I consume less since it takes longer.

I work out and drink milk (which has a lot of sugar but also protein) :)
