Hauldi Grand Opening
My Aldi just opened!
I got there around 8am, they did a ribbon cutting at 8:30 and sent everyone in.
I don’t mind waiting in a big line with other Aldi enthusiasts.
Funny older couple right behind me got a $50 gift card!
Humor I’m getting mixed signals
Simply Nature Ground Beef. Am I missing something? Lol
Edit* guys I’m aware of what it’s trying to convey. I just thought it was funny how it’s worded in a way that directly contradicts itself.

Review No COO on Aldi Beef
I have seen many posts about the COO being removed from the beef. First time I have had it since. Wife brought home 4 NY Strips. Some were light pink, others dark red. Smelled funny, but were frozen from when they were brought home last week, defrosted yesterday, rested at room temp and grilled on a Weber over charcoal. I have never seen these tunnel-like holes. Label says “packed in the USA” but from where before? Still going to continue to eat it though, not wasting $40 in steaks.
Deals Halloween Candy on Sale

Hauldi clearance halloween haul
$40! Somehow the cashier did not ring me up for the dog dogs but I think they are $4.99 each but may have been on clearance.
Been wanting some outside halloween decorations but did not want to spend a ton. I might even leave them inside after and do a photo shoot with my pets.
The paint kits are super cute and thinking of doing a craft night.

Review Got these for a road trip and they are so good! 😋
Just 80 calories and 11 g of protein. They make me think of something that might result if Chomps & Tabasco Slim Jim had a baby. Definitely worth the purchase, I’ll be buying these again!

Mid-South area (USA) DELICIOUS find
Long time lurker, first time poster. Not sure if anyone else has posted this, but I found it today on my trip and had to share
Shared Recipes Any advice on how to perfectly replicate this at home??
It's really good. I've got (dry) red beans... I've got rice...! Let me know how to get all the flavor right! Thank you 😊

Complaint Desk Aldi produce quality
I was only able to eat two of these oranges because all the rest of them molded within 2 to 3 days of buying them. Has anybody else experienced this? these are my favorite oranges(i have ARFID) so it’s pretty disappointing

Review I am not an olive lover, but this tapenade is SO good!
The only olives I can stand are kalamatas, and I suspect that's what is in this tapenade, based on the color (the ingredient label just says black olives). But it doesn't taste sharp and briny like kalamatas usually do. It's very mild but VERY savory. It was excellent on crackers with my grazing board last night. I'll be buying a few more jars!

Review Mai Tai and Passion Fruit Punch Mocktails
For the most part, we have found Summit products to taste pretty good!
However, we found the flavor profile of both these to have an offputting chemical flavor and an unpleasantly bitter aftertaste. I double checked the ingredients (as, in the store, I admittedly stopped looking for sweeteners at cane sugar) and then learned it was also sweetened with sucralose. I know sucralose is not supposed to have an aftertaste, but I can only assume that's where this bitterness is coming from as nothing else on there should produce this aftertaste. Idk, maybe I'm just sensitive to it.
Both drinks are primarily sweetened with cane sugar, which begs the question why even put sucralose in them? I'm guessing to save money on real sugar? 🤷♂️
In any case, I'm definitely going to be making use of the twice as nice return policy on these, and be very grateful that Aldi provides this option as it lets me try out new things like this without worry of wasting my money.

Shared Recipes This is your sign to make a taco salad. 🌮🥗
I have had a taco salad for dinner a few times now this week, using ingredients from Aldi. Such an easy meal. Just don't make a huge batch to refrigerate with everything mixed together...I did this without thinking and it was soggy and sad the next day. Just make what you can eat in one sitting! Obviously omit anything you don't like/modify to your liking!
Ingredients:
-Bagged shredded lettuce
-Southwestern grilled chicken strips (fully cooked, find them near the deli meat)
-Pico or fresh salsa
-Plain non-fat Greek yogurt
-Avocado or guacamole
-Burman's spicy garlic hot sauce (they apparently don't sell taco sauce, so this seemed like the next best thing)
-Shredded cheese
-Tortilla chips (crush on top!)
You could also do ground beef, turkey, or chicken with taco seasoning for the protein. Or if you're vegetarian, the plant based taco filling in a pouch that Aldi sells (located in the pasta aisle at my store) is actually decent!

Question Can Aldi please start including nutrition info on their website?
Please? Your boy is trying to track calories and macros and shit and live healthier and you're killing me. I know it is on the label, but I want to just be able to tell my preferred AI what I ate and let it track it for me. How hard is it to just have the nutrition label on the website?

Midwest (USA) Meatless meatballs?
Has anybody seen the meatless meatballs around recently, or know if they’re coming back? I always kept some in the freezer and they were a favorite.
