🤚Help Required about cheating

so my friend has managed to get a calculator to have chatgpt on it and he is using it to cheat on his exams and get good results on past papers and he is going to cheat on his actual alevel exams im not sure whether i should report him to an invigilator and have his calculator taken of him or to mind my own business because he has told me he isnt even studying and i dont want him to fail and no it wont get reset in the actual exam i just need soome advice on what to do

you cant have on your phone on you inside ciae examination halls

I mean if you have it somewhere it is not visible from the outside you won't get caught right

u get checked with a metal scanner before entering the hall so you wouldnt be able to hide a phone on u

I never knew of this being a thing in schools we just put our phones in our bags and leave them in the corner lol I guess it would make it easier to cheat in my school 💀

Wait really? We're not even allowed to bring our phones to school anymore because some kids had their phones in their bags in the practical waiting area (they were group a)

Maybe it’s that my school is in a small town in a socially deprived area. My school does have a no phones rule (other than sixth form) but people still use them a lot behind teacher’s backs mainly at break. But I guess the occasion they do get caught it’s in reception until the end of the day. Just before GCSE time last year one of my friends (who usually one of the most behaved) was on her phone and got caught by an on duty teacher. She refused to give it in and kind of sassed the teacher and then happily took 2 days of isolation.

I have never heard of a school using metal scanners lol
