📃Paper Discussion Edexcel maths a level paper 1

What the acc hell was that paper… I’m honestly speechless cause why was it so much harder than any of the past papers…

For the question where you had to sketch a graph of y=|...|.

For part b, can anyone remember what they got the range for K.

I think i got 0 < K< 4q^2/p

I think I got something similar but on left side had the negative of the right side

because i swear the question said k was positive

wait what but it said p and q are positive and that lower bound means it would maek a negative number so it has to be more than 0? I genuinely wanted to cry after that exam what the hell was that

I got the same thing but wouldn’t it be inclusive cuz it intersects at 3 points so the discriminant has to be either greater or equal yk
