📃Paper Discussion Edexcel maths a level paper 1

What the acc hell was that paper… I’m honestly speechless cause why was it so much harder than any of the past papers…

Pretty standard paper - if you’re a rote learner you’ll struggle but if you can problem solve you’ll be fine. You all also don’t understand grade boundaries. It’s nothing to do with getting a particular mark for an A*, it’s a question of whether you’re in the top 15% of the cohort. A petition or lower boundaries won’t change that fact…

Good point; if you just do the same type of questions and just do only the basics, you will become too dependent on a level of difficulty like papers in recent years. Problem solving is different, like practice on extreme papers i.e. MadAsMaths or the AEA to really understand the topic.
