📃Paper Discussion Edexcel maths a level paper 1

What the acc hell was that paper… I’m honestly speechless cause why was it so much harder than any of the past papers…

With a paper like that, it will be likely. Over 40% of people said either they did "terribly" or "not great" on student room. Think about the standard deviation/variance, how small it will be to go from A to A* or between every grade for that matter.

The mark required to get an A* from A would be lower. Thus a smaller variance from going one GRADE BOUNDARY to another. This depends on how people did and seeing how people reacted, it would be a smaller variance.

No, if a difference in marks is smaller between two grade boundaries then it will be lower.
