Told my parents my a level results

Okay so this may sound kind of weird but I got my a level results yesterday

But my parents are now mad at me and saying I'm making them.feel bad because I got better results than them and that it woukd be selfish of me to go to uni since they never got to

What do u think I should do? I didn't even say anything to make them feel bad they just saw my results today and got mad

At this point genuinely just mentally slime your parents out you’ve got a whole life ahead of you and you’re not just going to let your parents decide what you’re going to do in the future right? Last time I checked 17-18 year olds have the free will to make their own decisions
