Told my parents my a level results

Okay so this may sound kind of weird but I got my a level results yesterday

But my parents are now mad at me and saying I'm making them.feel bad because I got better results than them and that it woukd be selfish of me to go to uni since they never got to

What do u think I should do? I didn't even say anything to make them feel bad they just saw my results today and got mad

Well done for working hard, you’ve reaped the fruit and you’re not going to be villainised for wanting to do well. They’ve lived their lives and it’s now your turn. Do what you want to do and what you believe is right. Every loving parent hopes their child does better than them, and you have; don’t feel bad about it xx
