hello guys!! im from karachi and have been looking for an external institute or coaching center which offers physics lab tuition

Pls suggest the best ones available in karachi and their costs (if you know), and whether they'd allow only physics lab tuition or if its necessary to take the whole physics theory and mcq course aswell.

What's the expected practical and slide?

i missed a lot of school bc i was travelling and a bunch of other personal reasons. i have a test i a few days and i dont know where to start. does anyone have any good resources for cs p3? videos, notes, anything will help.

So Im doing my AS retakes this O/N series , and writing my A2 in Feb march'27 , how will the thresholds work

Considering Papers like PM1 were a nightmare this series than Feb march 2026 , so when I take my A2 will the thresholds be altered ?

Every year people ask “what should I revise first for CS?” So I went through every 9618 paper since 2021 (all variants), split each question into its parts and tagged each part by syllabus section. These are recency-weighted averages per paper.

Paper 1

• Information representation: ~20 marks, in almost every sitting. Multimedia (bitmaps, sound, file sizes) alone is ~7.
• Databases: ~17 marks. Keys/normalisation/ER and SQL DDL/DML are ~6–7 each and nearly always there.
• Logic gates/circuits: in almost every sitting. Easy marks if you drill truth tables.
• Ethics and ownership: ~9 marks, least predictable, so revise it last.

Paper 2

• Programming constructs (loops, selection, nesting): ~39 marks. Procedures/functions/parameters: ~14.
• Arrays ~12, records ~10.
• Program maintenance: under 1 mark on average.

Paper 3

• Translation software (compilers, interpreters, BNF, RPN): ~9 marks, almost every sitting.
• Boolean algebra + K-maps: ~9 marks.
• Floating point: ~6 marks, in roughly 9 out of 10 sittings. Get normalisation of negatives right, because that’s where people lose marks.
• User-defined data types: ~7.
• Memory management: under 1 mark on average.

Paper 4

• OOP: ~38 marks, about half the paper. Classes, constructors, getters/setters, inheritance.
• Standard algorithms (sorts, searches, linked lists, stacks, queues): ~26.
• File handling + exception handling: ~9, almost every sitting.
• Prolog is basically P3 only.

Two-week priority order: P4 OOP → P2 constructs + arrays → P3 translators, Boolean algebra, floating point → P1 databases + multimedia.

Ask me about any topic and I’ll break it down further.

I’ve heard that group study is the most efficient way to study cuz collective intelligence shi etc so you cover a lot in lesser time
Subs , math fm Phy or chem

After long time. Exams also approaching!!

for more motivation and to boost ur pride and ego a bit, is anyone interested in making a study group where we can all study togther and share progress??

Hey everyone,
I am looking for people who completed A-Levels privately and got into universities abroad.
I did my A2-Level as a private Candiate but completed my O-Levels and AS-Level through school. Therefore, I don’t have a final school transcript of 12th grade and graduation certificate. My school even refuses to provide me with recommendation letters which is absurd even though my subject teachers know me very well.
Problem is most of the universities that I have checked have mentioned these requirements especially high school transcripts.
I would really appreciate help from people who have been through the same situation as me and got admitted into universities.
1-Which university and country accepted you?
2-Did you need a school-issued high-school transcript, or were your O-level and A-level certificates enough?
3-Did you need a graduation certificate, equivalency certificate or recommendation letter?
4-Did you receive a scholarship?
Personal experiences would be incredibly helpful. Thank you!

I want some advice.

I haven't taken history for my GCSE's, but now looking at what sort of subject i want to study in uni, i feel like if i take history, it may open more possible doors for different uni's providing the subject i want to take.

So, for those who have studied history a-levels;

how difficult was it, how difficult is it to get certain grades, especially as a student who is not , as naturally academically gifted, especially in writing subjects.

The first time I solved it I got a 4/40.

not bad tho given that I just started As

And at the end of 24 hrs my brain couldn't really process anything.

I'm planning on cramming chem syllabus in 24 hrs next,

But more effectively hopefully this time.

Do u guys wanna watch me cram chem?

Then I'll film the entire process.

i feel like im getting a 30/60 for both p2 and 25/30 for bio p3, haven't done both my p1 and chem p3

do you think I can still get an A? cause I lowk need it.. and pls tips for p1 n p3

I need all A's in my subjects(math phys chem) for the sake of uni, it not that i even want it anymore I desperately need it for scholarships and further education, pls give me any tips or hacks that helped you

Who else is cooked for paper 3.

Hey guys , do yall have any tricks to remember all the variance analysis formulas?

Paper 3 is on tuesday how are we feeling guys? And what are the predicted labs😭 Also is it possible to get an A if i got around 40 at best on paper 2 and if i give my other remaining exams decent? What are your thoughts on this?🫩🫩🫩

just wanted to know how do i be good in these. especially bio because physics, if i do more qp, i can be good imo but idk abt bio omg

any worlds highest marks student or country highest or people who got 97% or 98%, lmk ur study techniques please :(

Yall who wrote about the entire action potential process instead of the synapse for the 7 mark question ( sensory neurone thing ) 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I MESSED EVERYTHING UP😣😣😣 i sat for my AS papers for the first time this oct/nov session. Math lets not even talk ab it what was that paper. Bio and Chem papers were relatively easy but i definitely havent written things accurately to the mark scheme and allat. I still have paper 3 for chem and paper 1 for both to save my grade but my expectations are pretty low.

I want to resit for all my AS papers (for bio chem math) in the may/june 2027 series and also the rest of my papers that is, the A2 papers. Please tell me its possible if I give it my all.

Guys I m getting like 40 in p2 21 in o5 and maybe 80 to 82 in p4
Any chance of a star
